Are they really now owned by Nestle? The most heinous, predatory food company on the planet?   That is a big red flag for the quality of this product.

I hate Nestle. So sorry as I loved some of their products so long ago - With this awful CA drought, Medtle has been illegally drawing water out of the actual water table of this state (and Others!) to sell all over the world, Nestle is being fined daily but they can pay!! And this after the powdered milk as product for poor women in disadvantaged countries debacle I can no longer support their brand. So sad, so sorry…

What is the difference between the refrigerated version and this shelf stable version? and please don't say one needs to be refrigerated lol!

Supposedly probiotics are sensitive to heat and some bacteria will die if not temperature  maintained. That's not to say that that the "shelf stable" isn't good. It just means it isn't required to be stored, or transported, in temperatures that will hopefully keep all of the bacteria you're hoping to add to your gut biome viable. Whereas the refrigerated option is suppose to be temperature modulated.

Are these kept cool during storage and delivery?

We do keep all products in a temperature-controlled environment as per the label instructions when items are stored in our warehouse facilities.  Please know that during manufacture, companies exceed the amount of organisms labeled on the bottle to ensure that by the time the customer receives it, the label claims will still be accurate.  Our methods of shipping are parallel to other vitamin and supplement companies as well.  It is most important that the product be refrigerated upon opening, as it no longer has the hermetic seal to keep out oxygen, which is the worst predator of potency for all products.

Question 4

Does this have any sugar? If so how many grams?

Dr. Formulated Mood+ Probiotic does not contain any sugar. Sugar is a mandatory nutrient which must be listed if there is any in the product.
