I’ve used this for years and always keep it on hand. I’m a guy and don’t wear makeup, but applying it after just washing my face or after moisturizer keeps my skin from looking greasy, even sweaty, busy conditions. It works without feeling like I have anything on.

I like the fact that it does take away the shine and oiliness from my face but it does not last long! At the most couple hours!

I’ve always used face powder to control my oily skin, and I even have a “healthy” one. But this is better. As I’m aging, powder doesn’t sit nicely on my skin. This controls shine, minimizes pores, and keeps my skin looking fresh and soft. I just super love it. (Make a little one, please! Id love one small enough for a mini clutch or cocktail bag.)

I was so excited to purchase this product, as I read about it in a newsletter written by a beauty expert I admire. I have oily and acne-prone skin and the idea of it was refreshing to me. The product itself does a decent enough job of mattifying (though hardly a game changer), and I worry about it clogging pores even though it's not supposed to. BUT, the most upsetting is that I only used the product three times and when I went to use it a fourth, the compact itself had fallen apart, the mirror came off, and the part that holds the sponge as well. Drugstore products are better constructed. Unfortunately, I missed the return window or this would have gone back immediately when I discovered how shoddily constructed it is. Unhappy customer.

The reason I purchased this product was because of a review I had read. When I received the product it was not what I expected, but it does the job. You don't need much, just a slight blot to the skin and shine goes away. I would recommend this product and I ended up buying 2 one for my purse and one for my home makeup bag.

This is a scent free mattifyer. Works very well on oily, shiny skin. Often with products like this, the container breaks before you can use all the prodct. This container is very durable and remained workable for the life of the product.

This product does absolutely nothing. Don’t waste your money

This is a beautiful product to use on the skin. I am not a big fan of setting powder as it always accumulates into fine lines and wrinkles esp. around the eye area and I was looking for something that would replace another brand that I was using and to my surprise, this one works even better. It has a slight bluish tint to the product but goes on clear. It can be worn under makeup as a primer, but I prefer to use it as a makeup topper in place of setting powder to tone down the shine. I would not say that it is a mattifying product, but it does reduce shine and leaves your skin with a natural finish, not matte not dewy, but a bit in between and it lasts all day. The best part is that it reduces the look of fine lines and wrinkles... which I LOVE! My preferred method of application is with a brush, although it does come with a sponge too. I tried to upload a short video, but unfortunately, I was not able to do that, so I added some photos of my skin. I love the results.

I did not have high hopes for this but it works exactly as it says. I have an oily t-area. I dab this on my forehead, nose and chin before applying makeup and I stay matte all day. Seems like it will last a long time. Very impressed!

I quite enjoy this, it doesn't FULLY matte but just enough! It is a little pricy (I think because of the bougie compact it comes in) The compact has a button open, a separate sponge applicator section, a mirror, and the main balm. I can see this lasting me a while, and I will prolly order another :)
