I ordered this after I had a knee replacement. It’s a little hard to set up if you aren’t very mobile, like using a walker after the surgery. But with a spare set of good hands, it can be filled, moved to the patient, and the pad put in place on the leg (for knee replacement), it’s easy to understand, and it’s very effective. The water stays cold, and you can control how often the pump circulates the water. Worth the price. Definitely a good product as long as someone is there to help carry all of the parts of the machine.

I bought this item to help me recover from a total knee replacement. I wish I had known about this type of device when I had my first knee replacement! I would say it has helped me control the swelling. It is easy to use and a very good value for the money. It is a bit noisy but that is to be expected as it works to compress the sleeve and move the chilled water. You can control the level of compression. I took the advice of others and use a couple of partially filled frozen plastic water bottles instead of ice to keep the water cold. The frozen water bottles make it super simple to swap out. The cooler stays cold all day.

Great product and it's worth the money. I am still using it, and I like mostly the combination of cold therapy and compression; it really helps with my recovery from knee surgery. UPDATE- After only 11 weeks, the Automatic circulation unit all of a sudden stopped working. Very disappointing.

I must admit I was skeptical when I ordered this product. I didn’t think, for the price offered, it would deliver what it promised. When it arrived, I was equally skeptical. Before assembly it resembled an old-fashioned drink cooler, However, when fully assembled and put to use, this cryo/compression unit delivered as promised! The wrap stayed ice cold for at least 8 hours and compressed for the time I set. I have been using it every day since my knee surgery three weeks ago. I would have given it a five star rating except for the fact you must hold it above shoulder height for 30 seconds to insure the water starts to flow into the wrap. Depending on your injury and mobility this could be a problem if you are alone. However, as I mentioned previously, this unit is a bargain and I would not hesitate to purchase it again.
