RID-X Septic Tank Treatment Powder – 3 Month Supply, Dual Action Enzymes and Bacteria to Break Down Waste & Prevent Backups

We’ve been buying this for years and use it monthly, as directed. It seems to really work well, breaking down the toilet paper and solids to keep our septic system healthy. It’s easy to use. Just pour it in your toilet and flush a few times to disperse it. It’s not smelly, but, it can be messy. Thankfully, they ship it in a sealed plastic bag because a little bit always somehow shimmies its way out of the sturdy, sealed box! I transfer it into a plastic container with a spout for pouring…but that’s optional. You can pour it out directly from the box if that’s easier. I like that Amazon offers this product on their subscribe-and-save list. Super handy! And brings the price down about $4.50 per treatment when you maximize your savings with 5 or more items ordered. I would prefer the 4 or 6-month size (a little cheaper price per treatment). But the 3-month box is quite affordable I definitely recommend this product!

seems to work perfect was easy to use smells great didn’t didn’t leak anywhere. It’s a big size but you use one every three months so and it’s a big septic tank so that’s good easy to rinse off down the toilet cause you put it down the toilet was perfect.

Have used this for years. Started to have issues with a 40 year old septic. Started using this every month and never had another issue. We put it in the first every month. Cheaper than the grocery store.

Good product that has been recommended. by our plumber. Removing one star because it is very difficult to measure.

I use Rid-x every month and I haven't had a problem with my septic tank. I prefer the gel packs for ease of use but the powder works too
