I bought these to help optimize the backpack I take to work. I can easily fit two freshly sharpened pencils and a single Sharpie pen. I really wanted something compact like this because I don't want a bunch of writing implements bouncing around. The size is perfect and the case material is hard so I'm not worried about other things in my backpack crushing it and breaking pencil tips.

Ideal Size For Numerous items But my requirement was for pens and Memeory Sicks in a crossover bag which would facilitate access from the top and not disturb other itmens in the bag hence long and narrow standing upright being a hard plastic alows vertical standing and facilitates protection . One problem my first order had broken hinges and due to the low price I bought again which was recieved perfect. an additional problem the item was purched from Amazon usa so this resulted in a 10 day delivery but well worth waiting for

I bought these for an off-use case, and they are perfect. They are pretty rigid, with a solid clasp, and look quite good. My use case was storing drills and reamers for specific tasks so that they didn’t get mixed in with my other cutting tools. It works a treat for that! Solid, just the right size for a few drills and a reamer, and not too big. I’m pleased with my purchase and happy with the price.

More about measurements soon. * - Lightweight, portable - ✔️check! - "Lockable," ✔️check! - as in, it clips securely closed IF you don't put more into it than it wants to hold. - Made of "Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene." Okay. ✔️ check? - Designed well for what it's meant to provide for you. ✔️ Bottom line - for me; hope this info helps you, if only a little - It's NARROW. Couple of pencils. Probably durable, esp. the material noted, ABS. So it's high quality. Use - What will you use it for? And at what temps? In the sun? - Please search for info, as I do NOT need to go down another rabbit hole in the guise of being thorough in a review. 🫨 LOL Small size is great for traveling and limited space, if that helps. Now, as for me ... 😄 Here we go ... Functional for ... ? * Okay, outside thickness, it says, is 0.63". That's the outside thickness with box closed. My crude measurements say 5/8". Hey, pretty close! For inside thickness/depth, subtract 1/8", my crude measuring. So anything SLIGHTLY thicker than 1/2" will not allow it to close it with a "click! Secure! Won't spill!" It holds an insulin syringe, filled or not, & *without the cap.* (Used as an example because I use needle-free insulin syringes for a different purpose than injecting insulin. And need something to protect it when loaded.) I think I need a drink. No more Amazon for me. 😉 Yeh, right. See ya in a few.

This pencil box is amazing. It fits full four full grown pencils in it. I like my like to be very sharp at the end and it protects it when it’s in my purse or in with my other books and bags and stuff I would recommend this to everybody, whether you’re a student or not a student it fits so nicely in your purse that you can have it in your purse if you need a pencil or prefer a pencil versus a pen
