BEATS PURINA PRO PLAN FN
Our dog has a small liver for his size ( a congenital defect) and was having serious digestive issues, so the vet prescribed Pro Plan FN kidney/liver diet along with real chicken and rice until he recovered when he was home. At nearly $5 per can, that was not going to work long term. After he regained normalcy, we switched to Simply Perfection Super Premium wet cans, mixed in with Purina One chicken and rice formula, since that is the dry kibble that was recommended in several blogs on dogs with liver issues, and it works very nicely. We only put about a 1/3 can in each bowl of kibble, so it takes the cost way down and he hasn't had any issues since.

Not reliable
If you can't keep your product in supply, then don't sell it on Amazon. Changing a dog's diet can upset some dogs stomachs.

Bummer
This food has no scent and my dog will not eat it. This is a bummer since he gets his pills in wet food. I also did not realize that the price is for 6 cans. Turns out I wasn't saving any money.

Different consistency but dogs loved it
This was a bit of a unique experience for us. We only use wet food as a random addition on our dogs dry food they eat in their slow feed bowls. So we don't use them often, and when we do, the dogs seem to think they're being rewarded for something, like it's a day at the spa for them or some such. But most of the time, the wet food has a bit of a gravy to it, and some parts, and this is not at all like that. More like liverwurst or something, or a pale sloppy joe that's a bit pasty. Fortunately the dogs never care HOW something looks, they only care how it smells and more importantly, tastes. The smell for us humans wasn't that great, but the dogs liked it, and when they tried it, they seemed a bit puzzled at first, then dug right in. I like the ingredients, or more important, the LACK of some ingredients, but since this isn't what they're fed exclusively for meals, it isn't as critical as it would be were this their main source of food. We hear about Omega acids all the time, so it's interesting seeing them starting to get incorporated into dog foods as well.

Not for every dog
Thought for sure that my Chihuahua would love this dog food sense she loves salmon. I was very wrong.
