Gekko Pod for GoPro Camera - BLACK

Great product

I bought this as a lightweight adaptable tripod alternative. The need I have is for something that will attach to things like branches, railings etc. The design idea is sound. The silicon legs are very grippy, easy to bend into any position and are definitely capable of holding those positions whilst supporting a GoPro in its housing. So why only three stars? The adapter mount supplied is poorly manufactured and even with the thumbscrew being fully tightened the GoPro flops around like a dead fish! So whilst I can definitely attach the GekkoPod to pretty much anything, there is no way that I can get the actual GoPro to hold its orientation. That said, all you need is a tripod mount adapter such as the branded GoPro one and you are good to go. Of course if you don't already have that then that is another (minor'ish) expense. Overall, I will get a good deal of use out of this little fella and the initial frustration will pass.

HI, I've bought two Gekkopods (both the same), however one broke down after 2 days of use (two of the stands a disjointed). I am very happy with the other Gekkopod stand and would be happy with either a replacement, or a refund. Regards
