Does what it’s supposed to do, great product.
Does what it is supposed to do, and gets rid of ticks. I buy these every year, and since I live in the woods, they are definitely needed. I put them around my yard, and my kids almost never get ticks in the summer. Great product.

Awesome product
I have been buying these for years. My property seems to have significantly fewer ticks than others nearby. Worth every penny!

amazing tick control, one small flaw
this is a great option for strong tick control with only one major downside. i didn’t want anything I would apply as a spray due to having several dogs and concerns about human health risk with those sprays too. this was the only economical option I found that could avoid that altogether. it’s genius. we’ve had TERRIBLE ticks in our area, and I’m consistently seeing little or no ticks while neighbors are covered. the downside? it provides mice with a lot more cotton to nest with. we have an old shed with holes in it. the mice used this excessive cotton to make bigger, more obstructive dens - most notably in our lawn mower which caused a major motor issue. however we are getting a new shed and hope this problem will be solved. so as long as your sheds/outdoor storage is tight, you are good to go! if not, prepare for bigger nests and set more traps.

Help with tick control
These help control ticks. We use them every year. Very easy to place around the perimeter of your property.

Works but why the 50% price increase?
These work and we like them, but the price has gone up by 50% since I last bought them last fall, for no apparent reason! Not sure we will continue to use them.

If you don’t like ticks, then look into tick tubes
After a Lyme scare, these Thermacell Tubes became a must-have. Even with professional landscaping, backing up to wild New England woods means ticks are a constant battle. Here is the quick breakdown: • How they work: Mice, bunnies, chipmunks (the main tick hosts) take the permethrin-treated cotton for their nests, killing ticks in their dens before they reach your grass. • The Schedule: Use them twice a year—once in late spring and again in late summer—to hit both breeding cycles. The cardboard tubes don't fully break down after a year. I usually do a quick sweep to pick up the old leftovers before putting the fresh ones out. I just scatter them along the property line. It’s a low-effort, targeted way to get peace of mind where sprays can’t reach.

They also kill mice
I thought these were not supposed to kill mice but we’ve found four dead mice in our yard since using these, two directly next to the tubes. So draw your own conclusions.
