The product is to solidify oil up to 3 litres. As in a deep fat fryer or Chip pan.. I thought you only used a tablespoon of oil sprinkled on to the food you are cooking in an air fryer ? Its not a cleaning product, it won't remove any burnt on residue. Hope that helps? **Q: I got that it's Non-toxic, Eco-friendly. But, can it be reused to make fat balls for birds?** A: I would not take the chance. It states dispose of in bin. **Q: Why would you use this instead of pouring oil into a well lined bin (where the contents of the bin will soak up oil?)** A: Cooking oil that is badly soiled is a bio hazard and harder for refuse to dispose of. The contents of one of these sachets forms the cooking oil and the contaminants in it into one solid block that can be disposed of safely - the other way contaminates everything in your refuse bag, with the possibility of the cooking oil gradually seeping its way through the bin bag, and coating other things with an oily sludge - never mind the horrible smell. The Quickshine method is so much kinder to the environment, which we now more than ever have to take care of! **Q: Can you use part of a pack for roasting pans?** A: It is supposed to be used to solidify the old oil inside a deep fryer into a block for easy removal. For this it is wonderful. I've never thought of using on a shallow roasting tin. You could ask customer services on Lakeland website. Product is also sold in shop. No more mess emptying the cooking oil into old oil bottles for disposal. Heat the oil, stir in the flakes, leave overnight and next day you have an amazing block of fully set jelly. Easy to lift out, cut into blocks and bag up for disposal. Couldn’t be simpler.
