These are gapped at .059 which would take too much bending to gap it down. NGK says not to change gap more than .008. NGK TR6ix would work better with preset gap at .039 **Q: The NGK TR55IX plugs do not fit a 2002 Tahoe, 5.3l flexfuel. Must use the TR5IX. Too many places including parts stores are selling the wrong plug.** A: I don’t know why you think the TR55IX won’t work, just a slightly cooler plug than the TR5IX.
