LITTLE BEARシリーズを買うのは2冊目です。 今回はお父さんの姿も出てきます。最初のお話は18ページ エミリーとの最初の出会いですがその前の木の上から降りて来た時に 色々な出会いがある所がとても好きです。 詩的な感じがとても豊かな心にしてくれます。毎回 Ｉ ｈａｖｅ ｔｏ ｇｏ ｈｏｍｅ ｆｏｒ ｌｕｎｃｈｉ．のセリフが入り 嫌味なく繰り返しフレーズが語られるのもいいですね。 4話入っていてひと夏のエミリーとの出会いから別れまでが語られています。

Very good book for kids!

In addition to being excellent reading practice for young readers, the several connected short stories (it is 62 pages and divided into four chapters each of which can be read as a story in its own right) will help to emotionally prepare children for exactly the sort of challenges they will face in real life. The pictures are also very well done with an old-world charm. In fact, after Beatrix Potter, the Little Bear series are my second favorite in terms of the art. I recommend this book for boys and girls and it's also a good stress-reliever for adults.

Appropriate reading level and story with cute illustration for 6 YO. It's so classic!

I like this series. This one has four short stories all linked together. It is about making a new friend and then having to say goodbye. The story is told simply but is clever nonetheless. Most of these books are out of print, which is shame as they are far better than the one dimensional drivel that is most childrens books these days. Oh and many modern children books have illustrations that look like they were actually made by a child, instead of a talented artist like Maurice Sendak!
