Good little diesel filters
I build /fabbed up my Harbor freight 20 gal parts washer with a 5 gal bucket/sub.pump/filter system, E.T.C. and have 2 different types of filters one a vehicle type filter and a In-Line filter. I also use diesel fuel as my parts washer fluid. It's been about 2yrs now and still have the same filter on the In-Line one, I periodically take it out and clean it by hand. These are Great. Very Happy with them

For the clear glass before the carb fuel filter. THIS is the way to go.
K & N makes good stuff. I know a glass fuel filter can drive you crazy cause it never fills all the way at idle. But they don’t fill all the way at idle with a mechanical fuel pump. You just can’t see it with an enclosed filter. These filter element are replaceable and fairly easy to replace.

Said it before...
I trust K & N products! I am a true believer! Every vehicle I have ever owned, has been equipped with K&N products , within the first 2 weeks of the purchase of my cars, motorcycles, anything that breathes clean air to run, and does it better with K&N!

Bought this because K & N products are usually decent quality. Big surprise...car would not start. The filter outlet housing was completely blocked. I had to finish drilling it to make it function. This flaw should have been detected by manufacturer's quality control inspection. VERY POOR QUALITY.
