Very heavy, quality lid that fits the Caraway 10.5" pan perfectly.

Made with thick tempered glass with a weep hole. Does not have a typical steel trim around the rim because it is so thick it doesn’t need one. Also, it would take away from the beauty of these lids. Never seen lids like this!!

I got new Caraway pans and made the (irrational) assumption that the cover for my existing 10" saute pan would work on the Caraway pan. OOPS. Too big. So I broke down and ordered this one. The cover that comes with the set is apparently colored and metal and I was pleased that this one is glass instead, since I have been using cookware with glass covers for 30+ years. It fits great and the depth of the pan makes up for the flat style vs the arched style of my other glass covers.
