MOVA V50 might be the one!!
UPDATE 1/31/26- So Mova is still doing a great job keeping my place clean. I've changed the scheduled cleaning sessions once again to accommodate my home and time. One issue i found, if you're a pet owner you've got to check the onboard filter weekly as there's no notification sent through the app to do so. My mova seemed to be doing a horrible job out of no where. Simply leaving debris everywhere even with thr suction set to turbo. I wrote Mova who replied quickly and came up with a solution that worked for both of us. They offered a new machine to replace this one. Well in my experience, a new machine may have ended up having it's own issues far worse than what I'm already experiencing. I asked Mova if they would mind sending the new unit out and let me test it for a while as i could afford the downtime as well as the chance that i receive a lemon. They agreed, but just before they shipped a new unit i decided to look at the onboard filter which had just been changed a few weeks prior. Sure enough there was about an inch of cat fur on the inside of the filter causing suction to diminish greatly. I took the filter out svs cleaned the fur off and the machine is back in business! I alerted Mova of this and mentioned there not being anything in the app to remind users of this who are pet owners. They are grateful and said they'd pass this along to their engineers. On a side not, I spoke with Mova about designing a plumbing installation kit for this machine which they were actually helpful with and offered their support through testing. I'm in my 4th week of testing now and everything is working wonderfully. I really like a company that stands behind their product, but finding one that agrees to not void your warranty while you text out modifications is great! Anyhow the V50 is solid and doing just fine. I'll update in the future as there is one other thing on the list i wish was better but for now let's let it run... UPDATE 10/16/25- So I've been living with Mova for some time now since my original purchase and here are my thoughts. I recently moved to a new place and had to remap after moving in. I like the fact that while I had to delete the old map, my scheduled cleaning data didn't get erased. That gave me time to look at how i had routines set up and i felt that leaving most of the routines in ai cleaning mode netted a better result overall. In my last home a deep cleaning which was scheduled on Saturdays would take hours. Lots of returns to the dock to charge etc. This past Saturday, Mova ran through my place with one thing on her mind. Clean and get out the way. I now have it set up to vacuum every night at 10pm, then scheduled mopping and vacuum at 3 am 3 nights a week. The rest of the week is a mixed bag of cleaning routines making sure to mop my kitchen every night. She's doing a fantastic job at keeping the cat fur down to a minimum and making sure to pick up the litter and whatever else my cats leave behind. The only thing i wish this vacuum had the ability to do is add a plumbing kit. This one lasted past the 30 days return window so now I'm married to it. Another thing to add, I've noticed when searching for reviews at least in my experience, I hadn't found several bad reviews. Plenty of good reviews out there on this particular model. And in researching i found that the vacuums that tend to have the most negative reviews are generally ones to stay away from. Conversely, when looking for mixed reviews on the Mova v50, there weren't nearly as many as any other vacuum I'd come across. Now this has been my experience so far and what that translates to is if people aren't talking about it, it must be good because I've noticed everyone has time to express their horrible experiences but a lot of folks do not really take time out to mention all the great experiences they've had. Overall i am happy with my purchase and will be keeping this until it falls apart. Then we'll see what's next! Purchased around September 3rd 2025- So here's my review of the Mova V50. I was skeptic with all these robot vacuums coming out every other week. My partner convinced me to purchase this new one and I can confidently say so far she was right. The vacuum has performed virtually problem free. In fact the few times it's gone rogue was actually due to my negligence. A quick remap and things were rolling. It got stuck only a handful of times, going under a sofa in my guest bedroom that had large items that would bust ankles if walked on! So not the vacuums fault. I quick move of those items stored under the sofa and back to work. Programming was easy, and straight forward if you've programmed other vacuums before. Mapping was excellent! Furniture was automatically recognized and placed where it should be. My cats food bowls were easily recognized and so were their beds. I love the pet photo capture feature. When it's completed a task I go check the stored photos and see what my cats are up to. I see the v50 cleaning corners diligently and going over areas that it either missed due to a pet being in the way at the time of the first pass. I've also watched it go back to clean heavily soiled areas ensuring they weren't overlooked. Since I've worked out the little kinks it hasn't let me down. I'm coming up on the 30 day return window and you better believe it was going back if it didn't perform. I will say the only negative which is due to my programming actually is that it uses a LOT of water. But I have it mopping 7 days a week. Either the entire apartment or my kitchen and master bath on alternating days. It gets the job done. I'd like it to have an optional plumbing connection but they've not come up with one. I have figured out how to modify it to incorporate my own but perhaps I'll wait to see if it's really needed. Right now it's in my kitchen close to my kitchen sink so refilling isn't that taxing. I must admit I've gotten quite lazy so naturally filling and emptying became a task for me lol. But seriously this thing just works. Am I skeptic what long term ownership looks like? Absolutely, but I've had a few of these things and once they break they're broke. I haven't had to contact customer service once since purchasing the Mova V50 and hope I never have to. I'm gonna rate this a 9/10 just because I'm still not convinced it will last but it is doing quite good job. For reference I have a 1300 sqft 2 bedroom apartment with 2 baths. Carpet in both bedrooms and vinyl composite flooring throughout the rest. 2 cats and when my girlfriend comes over with her dog and her long hair everywhere.

Finally Found THE ONE – Way Better Than My Old Robot Vacuum!
Okay, I have to say — I've gone through a couple of robot vacuums before (Roborock, iRobot, you name it), and the MOVA V50 Ultra honestly blows them all out of the water. I was a little skeptical at first because MOVA isn't as "big name" as some other brands, but after using it for about a month now, I'm a total convert. Suction Power That Actually Delivers: The 24,000Pa suction is no joke. My old robot vacuum claimed "strong suction" too, but it always left behind pet hair and fine dust along the edges. The V50 Ultra? It gets EVERYTHING. I have two cats and a golden retriever, and my floors have never been this clean. No More Disgusting Hair Tangles: This was my #1 frustration with my previous robots. I used to spend long time after every cleaning session pulling hair out of the brush roll. It was gross. The Zero Tangling DuoBrush on this thing actually works — I've checked the brush multiple times and it's still clean. This alone makes it worth switching from my old Roborock. The Hot Water Mopping is a Game Changer: Most robot mops just drag a damp cloth around and call it "mopping." Not this one. The 176°F hot water self-cleaning system actually makes the mop pad clean before it touches your floor. And the fast hot air drying afterward means no mildew smell — which was a problem I had with my old 2-in-1 robot. My kitchen tile floors look like I hand-mopped them. Seriously. Climbs Over Everything: I live in an older house with slightly raised door thresholds, and my previous robot would get stuck EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. The V50 Ultra handles the 2.28-inch transitions like it's nothing. It just rolls right over and keeps going. I don't have to "rescue" it anymore, which is such a relief. Smart Navigation That Actually Works: The FlexiRise Navigation maps my entire house accurately — even the tricky areas under the dining table and around chair legs. My old iRobot used to bump into everything like a drunk Roomba. This one avoids obstacles smoothly and rarely gets stuck. It feels like a real upgrade in intelligence. Easy to Control in Every Way: I mostly use the app, which is clean and intuitive — way better than some of the clunky apps I've dealt with. But I also love that I can tell Alexa to start it when my hands are full. The Bottom Line: If you're on the fence or thinking about upgrading from another brand — just do it. I wish I had found MOVA sooner. The V50 Ultra cleans better, mops better, maintains itself better, and navigates smarter than anything I've owned before. And honestly? It's priced better too. This is the real deal. Highly, highly recommend.

Lights, Quiet, OH My!
I’ve been really impressed with the MOVA V50 Ultra Complete so far. One of the first things I noticed is how quiet it is compared to a lot of robot vacuums. It’s easy to let it run in the evening or at night without it being disruptive. I also really like the built-in light. It actually makes a difference when it’s cleaning under beds, around furniture, and in darker spaces. It seems to do a much better job seeing where it’s going in low light, which is a big plus for nighttime cleaning. The suction is strong, navigation has been solid, and it does a nice job moving between surfaces. Overall, it feels like a very smart and well-designed robot vacuum that works well in a real home, not just on paper.

My updated impressions so far final update
I initially had written a negative review about the Mova v50. The reason being my Mova during its very first cleaning dumped a large clump of dirt on my floor. I had some difficulty at first getting ahold of support. I believe the reason is because of different time zones. Once getting a hold of support they have well….. been very supportive. I’m currently in a wait and see mode , possibly the dumping of the dirt clog was a fluke? I double checked the bin and the base but saw nothing that looked wrong. Possibly the clump simply got caught in the shoot instead of being sucked all the way into the bag and this won’t happen anymore? Time will tell. However after speaking to Mova support I feel better that they will help me through this issue. I actually like the robot and hope the issue resolves itself .The robot is very smart. I was shocked how fast it mapped my house. There’s also a ton of options to make sure the robot cleans where and how you want it to. A favorite feature so far ( only ran it once to date) is the obstacle avoidance features, love how I can see a picture of the obstacle. I was impressed how well it recognized wires on the floor also . All this said, after a few weeks I will update to 5 stars if the dirt clump issue is resolved, I’m cautiously optimistic especially because if it doesn’t Mova support has responsive and I trust they will resolve the problem .Stay tuned for the update but as of now I’m hopefu,l hence the change from a negative review to a somewhat positive to reflect Movas efforts to fix the issue to date. update… unfortunately I cannot recommend this robot as much as i really wanted to. The robot continues occasionally dump dirt onto floor the floor from the side door opening. Per Mova’s instructions I changed the options in the settings to empty the bin more often by choosing the “smart empty function “. This didn’t solve the issue. MOVA now his asking me to set the empty function to empty more frequently (highest setting). I have a 10 year old iRobot i8 that can vacuum my entire house upstairs and downstairs With only emptying upon completion. My Mova is only doing my upstairs. They have offered to replace the unit . This involves me packing up the heavy robot /Bin, taking it to a drop off center and waiting on a replacement that I may have the same issue. They also informed me they recommend re-mapping if I get a new one. This means more time and hassle. Naming the rooms, setting no go zones, cleaning sequence, cleaning preferences and adding to app. I’ve run some test on my own and see this as probably a design issue. A YouTube tester also during his testing encountered the same problem (dirt dumped on floor). I’ve added more pictures. I was hoping to by a second Mova as it’s smart for my basement. However I’m not going to after further testing having same issue of dropping dirt onto floor floor. Support has been trying and I don’t fault them as much as the poor design of the vacuum shoot/rubber flap. Update:: support has now quit responding.

Very clean moping and Vaccuuming.
Its definitely expensive but works well for me. Sometimes it struggles in the tight corners and if too much mess in the place but have been time saver. The cleaning both mop and vaccuum has been great. Still need to try the multi floor management feature and vaccuum on carpet. The price has dropped a lot from when i bought, so probably worth now. Its easy to setup, fits nicely in a cozy corner and matches with our wall color. One of the problem is, if you cancel the operation in the middle then it messes with its operating procedure so perhaps bad coding. I hope they do the hardware update in the future version to fix it. Best thing, the customer care service has been very responsive and they really try to get your problem resolved.

Amazing floor cleaner for seniors and folks with physical disabilities.
We are seniors with pain, disability and mobility issues. Keeping our wall to wall carpeting regularly vacuumed and the hard surface floors in our bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room regularly vacuumed and mopped has become a huge challenge for us the past couple of years. Like most seniors, we are on a modest fixed income, so we can't afford to hire help as much as we need it. Working together, we can manage keeping on top of clutter, dusting, bathrooms, countertops, laundry, etc. However because of the kind of injuries and issues we've had over the years, vacuuming and mopping are the most difficult and painful chores for us to do. About 5 months ago, I realized that we needed to start thinking outside of the box and our comfort zones. I had heard of vacuuming and mopping robots but I just couldn't believe that they would do a very good job, especially on the mopping. I was also concerned that the technology would be so complicated that we wouldn't be able to manage it . They were also very expensive so I couldn't imagine us affording one. However, I kept looking and researching. The mova v50 came up often as one of the best vacuuming mopping robots but it was about $1300, so we couldn't afford it. Then at Christmas, Amazon marked it down to $750. That is still a lot of money for us but we have been putting out $25 an hour for someone to come and take care of our floors. I figured that if this vacuum worked out, we could vacuum and mop whenever we needed to and not have to put out $25 or more, every time. Plus, since I would be buying it through Amazon, I knew that we had 30 days to try it out and then send it back and get our money back, if the vacuum didn't work out for us.. I was also impressed that most of the reviews I read said that the app is fairly easy to navigate and that we should be able to handle it. We have now had this little vacuum and mop robot for about 8 weeks. This is what we think of it! Pros: 1)Find The YouTube video "Mova v50 is a game-changing robot vacuum and mop video - First Look" by Just a Dad on YouTube. This is the best and most thorough review that I have found on this robot. He shows you exactly how to set this up and all of the features. It's a very long video, but it's worth it to understand how this robot works. By watching this video, I was able to easily install and navigate the app for the basic, most critical functions of the robot. I know that not all seniors have smartphones or computers, but if you're comfortable with those at all, you will be able to do this. I do have to admit that I still haven't figured out all the features yet but I am able to get my floors cleaned with little effort, so that makes me very happy. 2) The vacuum comes with at least one year's worth of replacements for the consumable parts and solutions. From what I have researched, it's about $200 worth of parts and solutions that you will need that come included in the price. 3) Right now the price is $750 again, which is an incredible deal for a robot vacuum like this. Obviously Mova has come out with new and even more advanced models, which is probably why they're marking this down so much, but it's hard for me to imagine needing anything more than what this robot offers. The newer models are well over $1,000. 3) The suction power on this vacuum is incredible, especially when you put it on the highest setting. Our wall-to-wall carpeting is at least 20 years old and my husband is in a very heavy electric wheelchair. We get it professionally cleaned a couple times a year but it's still looks smashed down, because of all the use it's received over such a long time. This mova v50 ultra can't make these old carpets look new, but it actually raises the nap on them and picks up everything that has gotten onto or in them. Our rugs look remarkably cleaner and neater since we've had this vacuum. We have also noticed a significant reduction in dust on the surfaces in our house since we have been able to run this vacuum regularly. 4) I was very skeptical about a little robot vacuum with a couple of scrubby pads being able to really clean the hard surface floors in our house. I hate to admit it, but we hadn't been able to keep our floors adequately clean up until the time we bought this Mova v50 because we couldn't shell out $25 whenever the floors really needed cleaning. The first couple of times I used it to mop our floors. I was disappointed and thought that it wasn't doing a good job. However, when I went to empty the dirty water tank, all I saw was black water. Obviously those little scrubby pads had picked up a ton of dirt off our floors. I ran the mop cycle again. This time I was able to see how clean it got our floors after removing all the dirt that we hadn't been able to remove for a while. Since then our hard surface floors have been remarkably clean - and they are very old sheet vinyl. This little guy can really mop floors! 5) The tanks for the clean water and the dirty water are well designed, not overly heavy even when full, and the latch and handle are very strong. Once it's snapped shut you don't have to worry about it opening up and dumping water everywhere. 6) The cleaning and maintenance of this robot is minimal and easy to do - BUT YOU NEED TO DO IT REGULARLY!. Again, I suggest Just a Dad's videos on the Mova v50. Find the one on how to clean and maintain it and you'll know exactly what to do. 7) The final pro that I'm going to list here is the included 3-year warranty. We have not had to use the warranty or to contact customer service, so I cannot comment on how effective either one is. I've read some pretty mixed reviews on Mova's warranty and customer service. I'm hoping that if we ever need to use the warranty or customer service, that it will also be a five-star experience, like the vacuum robot has been. Cons: 1) The mova v50 with all of its components in its box is VERY heavy. If you decide to buy this and you are at a time of life, like us,where we can't haul things like that anymore, either make sure you have someone else there to help you, or pay the extra $20 to Amazon to have the delivery guy put it wherever you want it in your house. We had them put it on our kitchen table so we could take the items out of the box a piece at a time, at a level we could easily reach. The base station alone or the robot alone are not that heavy and easy to move to wherever you want to permanently put them. 2) This robot does not vacuum or mop as well as a woman determined to get her house clean. I would say that, depending on the room and what's in it, It cleans between 80% to 90% as well as a thorough house cleaner. It does vacuum or mop dirt out of some corners but not all of them. It does avoid most obstacles that might get tangled in the brushes but not all of them. It does go under most furniture but It's not as slim as some robot vacuums that can go under almost any piece of furniture. It doesn't always mop up all spots from the floor, especially if it's something sticky. However, you can just ask it to go back and mop the floor again. Usually it gets it up eventually. Depending on how far your kitchen cabinets stick out over the floor, it may not get all the debris from under your cabinets in the kitchen. However, we have found that the debris that it overlooks is not a big deal for us to handle, because the robot has already done the heavy hard part. Sweeping a few crumbs out of a corner, or scrubbing up one spot on a floor isn't a big deal. 3) Especially if you put the robot on the deep clean cycle, which is where you get the most suction power, it takes a long time for it to do all the floors in the house. We have about 1,400 square feet of floor space for it to clean and it can take up to 3 hours, if we ask it to do the whole house. If it gets stuck on something or if something gets tangled in it, then it takes even longer because it needs to reorient itself back to what it was doing. Fortunately it VERY seldom gets tangled in anything or gets stuck anywhere. The mapping software is very good and if you pick things up off the floor before you set it loose you won't have a problem. The time that it takes to clean all the floors in the house hasn't been a problem for us, though. We figure we're not the ones having to do the heavy work. so who cares how long it takes!

The Best Gift I’ve Ever Gotten My Parents — This Robot Vacuum Truly Delivers
I’ve heard my parents talk about wanting a robot vacuum for years, but they never bought one, so I finally pulled the trigger and got one for them. Choosing which one to get wasn’t easy. I had no idea there were so many options. After spending several days comparing models from Roborock, Dreame, Ecovacs, MOVA, and Narwal, I landed on the MOVA V50 Ultra Complete. The feature set is impressive, and the 3-year warranty gave me the confidence to go for it. It turned out to be one of the best gifts I’ve ever given them. Feedback (from unboxing and a few cleans!): - It was well packaged and included everything you’d need and more (extra side brushes, mop pads, filters, dust bags, general cleaning solution, and even a pet deodorizer). - Setup was seamless. The vacuum connected to Wi-Fi in minutes and immediately prompted a firmware update, which reassured us that MOVA continues to improve the product post-purchase. - My parents’ home has two floors and a few raised and sunken areas. Since the V50 can’t climb full-sized steps, we manually placed it in each zone. The multi-floor mapping feature worked flawlessly, and once each space was mapped, the vacuum navigated with precision. - The V50 smoothly maneuvered around furniture, glided under low-clearance pieces and cleaned confidently around tight areas like dog bowls. It even got right up against stair edges without ever coming close to falling, which really showcased its advanced sensors. - This vacuum has serious suction power. We could hear it ramp up on rugs, and the combination of side brushes and the extended mop pad left no visible debris behind. - We were pleasantly surprised by how well it handled thick shag rugs. We expected issues, but there were no tangles or jams, just steady cleaning and audible debris pickup. - And despite its power, the V50 is surprisingly quiet. My parents’ Shih Tzu, Harlie, wasn’t bothered at all, just curious when it passed her food bowls. - The mopping feature is smarter than we anticipated. The V50 returned to the dock multiple times to clean the mop pads, then re-mopped previously cleaned areas to avoid spreading dirt. At the end of the run, the app sent a notification prompting us to refill the clean water tank and empty the dirty one. Overall, this robovac has truly exceeded our expectations. It’s been easy to use, smart enough to adapt to a tricky home layout, and quiet enough to keep the dog relaxed. If anything changes as my parents continue using it, I’ll update this review, but as of now, they love it.

Auto Car Wash vs. Handwashing: How I See the MOVA V50
I wanted the V50 to be perfect, and through that lens, finding any fault with the V50 came easy. But I’ve reframed my view. It’s not fair to want the V50 to be perfect. I’ve lived in this house for 14 years; the V50 has been navigating it for a few months. For reference, I also have a MOVA Z60 (roller mop), and having used both, I'd pick the V50 if I could only have one. We named our V50 "Tia", and our Z60 is "Emo" -- two names, two languages, both mean Auntie. The best analogy I can think of for the MOVA V50 is the difference between an automatic car wash versus handwashing your car. The auto wash is convenient, gets you a “good‑enough” clean, and sends you on your way. Handwashing, on the other hand, gets into most nooks and crannies and leaves you with that satisfying “job well done” feeling. And if you want perfection, you’d hire a professional detailer. The MOVA V50 is the automatic car wash of home cleaning—except in this case, it actually does a very good job. Sure, you could clean everything yourself, or you could pay a professional maid service, but the V50 handles the day‑to‑day vacuuming and mopping reliably and consistently. And it can do things you can’t—like pull a perfectly straight vacuum line along the entire length of carpet. Or do things you don’t want to do—like vacuuming the same huge rooms every single day. The other thing for me is not about vacuuming the “big stuff” I can see. Rather, it’s what I can’t see—the fine dust and dander—that’s important to me, since that can get into my lungs. The V50 running every day to pick up the dust and dander is awesome. The auto‑emptying, the pad washing, and the pad detachment when vacuuming all work great. The navigation is good to very good. It’s smart, but it’s still a mechanical robot learning a complex environment. I do expect it to improve as it maps and re‑maps the space. The other part is managing my own expectations with the settings. If I want a quiet vacuum, I have to accept lower suction—there’s a reason my upright doesn’t have a “quiet mode.” If I want the best mopping performance, I need to use the highest heat setting and more water. These are all reasonable trade‑offs that I understand and am willing to compromise on. A general app overview shows 57,328 sq ft cleaned—vacuumed and mopped—in 6,000 minutes. Now, it wouldn’t take me 6,000 minutes to clean, but still, that’s time I didn’t clean. No matter how you calculate it, that’s a huge deposit into my personal time bank. As for power consumption: power in my area costs 13.5 cents per kilowatt‑hour. The MOVA V50 uses about one‑tenth the energy of my Hoover upright for a cleaning session and costs just over 1.5 cents to run and charge. Even if I ran the V50 every single day, I’d spend around 45 cents per month in electricity—add in a few extra cents for idle power consumption. Appearance‑wise, I think it looks fantastic in white, and the base station in white/gold. The MOVA V50 is a feature-rich robot vacuum that may not replace a deep clean, just like an auto wash won’t replace a full detail—but for everyday maintenance, it’s doing exactly what I hoped it would.

Do not buy this product if you are outside the USA.
I personally experienced issues where some features did not work as they should. After contacting customer service, they confirmed that these features are not fully supported outside the United States and offered me a refund because I am located outside the USA.
