12' Intex Frame Set Pool Cover

When we first put this cover on, it fit pretty well. The draw strings were there so you can tighten it a little. It worked fine for a few days until it started to get windy. Once it started getting a little windy the wind started getting under the cover. We watched a small gust take half the cover off. The drawstring is a nice feature, but the cover material is so thin that if you pull the strings a little hard, it starts to tear the cover. There is now about a 12 inch tear on the left hole and a 6 in tear on the right hole. I tried using duct tape to fix it but the cover just keeps on coming off. I don't recommend buying this unless you have zero wind. I plan on returning this and getting another brand

The 1 inch bottom of skirting that the drawstring is fed through, NEEDS to be 10 x's thicker. At least for a foot in each direction from drawstring opening. After covering pool 3 x's, the vinyl has already torn from pulling the drawstrings tight. WHAT is wrong with manufacturers anymore? They make a product as fast and cheap as possible with no quality control. This tearing issue should not be happening. Maybe .50 cents of material per cover, and charge $5.00 more per. 🤷‍♀️ On a positive aspect, I have a suggestion for all who struggle with simply covering their pool by themselves. I have a piece of Husky 4 ml plastic sheeting 15 x 15 that I cover my poll with. I use 12 binder clips to hold it in place. This allows you to cover with this cover as if you're putting a fitted sheet on a bed. AND the best part is, with just the plastic sheeting covering, the sun warms your pool fast 😊

This 12’ Intex pool cover fits perfectly and stays in place, even on windy days. It keeps leaves and debris out and has drain holes to prevent water buildup. Easy to use and a great value—highly recommend!

This is the second cover we’ve used for our intex 12’ pool. Last summer we had one that had multiple holes (intentionally there from the manufacturer) and they let in so much debris and the cover was constantly sinking down, and the cover never stayed on in strong winds . This one only has a few holes near the sides and it functions so much better- much less debris gets in the water and we’ve had no issues with sinking. Other reviews said they added heavy duty Velcro to the vertical poles so we did the same and that helps keep the cover on perfectly! We have very strong winds and the cover does not even budge with the help of the Velcro.

I bought this cover for my frame type pool like the one pictured and the cover is CRAP. It says intex on the top and it has holes in it(not sure why looks like it was made this way). It lets all kinds of leaves and bugs into my pool. the cover does NOT fit properly. The seams are ripping.I have a 12 ft pool and this cover is TOO big. the drawstring does not work properly and its ripping in that area too.It does not work well in a heavy rain either.It does not stay above the water because you cant get the cover tight enough.I am NOT happy with this cover and would never buy one again.You would be better off buying a tarp big enough to cover the pool and tying it down.It is definitely NOT worth the price.

This is the 2nd cover I have had to purchase for my Intex pool. The other one was torn up from wind damage. Pros: 1. Keeps leaves and dirt out of the pool 2. Keeps algae from growing in the pool in direct sunlight. 3. Helps preserve pool chemicals. 4. Easy to put on and remove for pool access. 5. Helps keep the water cool on those hot days. Cons: 1. If you expect this cover to stay put, you will need to improvise, the wind will take it right off. * I used some super grip velcro and attached it to each pole on the pool and then attached it to the cover and it has worked perfectly. The single string they provide in the cover is not enough to keep it from flying away. 2. If you do not secure it properly, it will fall down inside the pool. 3. It will fade in the sun and the chlorine in the pool will stain it a little. Hope this helps!

Aloha from Hawaii!🌸 Very happy with purchase and the quality is well made as described. I first ordered the cover in March however cxld since I waited almost a month which I believe was due to COVID. I believe the Intex warehouse was closed which made sense. I reordered on June 26th and was excited with the quick 4 day turnaround 😊. The cover as a drawstring to tighten the cover. I didn't think I needed to purchase clips to secure the cover as suggested by another customer. I live in Hawaii, tropical breeze not too bad. Lol today it's windy. I'll purchase a few clips.

Se ajusta a mi piscina de 366 cm y la cubre correctamente. El material es apropiado para evitar que se ensucie.

Happy to have bought this as the number of leaves and stuff getting in to pool were an issue. It fits well and even in high winds it says on. One thing I did though was to make a small..and I mean small, hole in the middle of the cover, because when it rains it collects pretty quickly. The hole allows the rain water to drain preventing the cover from filling up and ending up in the pool or being stretched to all hell.

La compré porque ya me estaba cansando de limpiar hojas y bichitos TODOS los días de la alberca y la verdad sí funciona bastante bien. Tengo una Intex Prism Frame y quedó perfecta. No hace magia obviamente jajaja pero sí mantiene muchísimo más limpia el agua y también ayuda a que no se evapore tan rápido. Incluso sentí el agua un poquito más tibia al día siguiente cuando hizo sol. El material se siente resistente y no se ha roto ni nada aunque ya la he quitado y puesto varias veces. Además se instala rápido. Si tienes alberca y te da flojera limpiarla diario, sí la recomiendo totalmente.
