Being a retired security systems installer, I can say for the price you will not find a better PTZ. Open the box, insert the 128 microsd card( not included) , connect the antenna and power it up. Thats it. I set it up on my table. You just scan the QR code on the camera into the CamHiPro app that you download for free. All I had to add was my router password. I mounted it on my patio near the ceiling. I have a 110v receptical just below it for power. The power cord has a box about 2"x4" in-between the a/c plug and the banana plug that plugs into the wire harness coming out of the camera. This box in not waterproof so if you will have it exposed you will need to put it in a waterproof box. You can just drill a hole from inside to outside and push the wires inside it will be fine. The Human tracking works very good. It will follow them until they leave the frame. It will then return to the starting position in about 60 seconds. To make this work, just set it up by doing position 92 set from the starting position, then 92 call. Then it will auto follow. I have it for human only. The Alarm is also set for IR only. The night color mode is awesome as long as the light is not shining in your neighbors windows. The cruise mode works great on positions 1 to 10. I do not use it as you may miss something if the camera is facing the wrong direction. The optics are very sharp with 4K. The 128 sd holds 6 hours of 4k video. I also have the $4.99 per month 7 day alarm recording. the $4.99 was purchased thru the app on my iPhone and is good for 30 days. I will renew it monthly, not automatic. This camera has a high speed, 360 full rotation. At far view it slows down so you can move it a small amount at a time, I like that. in conclusion, for the price and ease of use this is the camera to buy. Also the Hip2p software you can download to your mac or pc works like a virtual nvr. It lets you review the video and see live. you can also move the camera. If you have 2 of these you can have multiple screen view.

A spectacular PTZ camera! I have had HXView security cameras for the purpose of watching critters in the yard. I have the 30x version but this 50x version is so much better. So much more detail, features and speed. It rotates very fast, zooms in/out at a good speed. You can have preset positions to make recalling specific positions simple. There are tracking features that I don't use, but I can see how that could come in very handy. The camera is easy to set up and use. The iPhone app walks you right through setup. Within only a few minutes the camera is active and recording. I can record video on schedules and take snap shots with ease. I use a micro-sd card in the camera so no subscription is needed! Typically, cameras with this level of zoom are very expensive or combine lower optical resolution combined with digital interpolation to create the illusion of zoom. No digital zoom here, all optical! I can zoom in on small birds on the feeders and nearby trees to see their details. We have a squirrel that visits every day and now we can see him up close! The pictures included are mostly at 50X at a distance of 45 feet away so you can see the zooming capability. The birds in the pics are only 2 to 3 inches long so you can imagine how zooming in on a human or larger animal would be. There is one that is at maximum width on a 50 foot wide yard. In addition, customer support is fantastic! I had a question and within a day, I got the answer I needed. I would purchase this again without hesitation!

Zoom clarity is amazing, but... The SD card door opens directly into wiring and a circuit board so don't EVER open it when there's ANY moisture. I had to push wires aside to insert the card, and I had to use tweezers to retrieve the card (see photo). I tried a couple different size SD cards (they call it TF) but never got anything to record except one manual snapshot. Many Android permissions (like precise location and all-files access) are required and you cannot use the camera at all without installing the app. The app uses bluetooth to set up the camera, including sending the cam your WiFi network password (same for every cam). If you want email notices you also have to give it your email password (standard practice). Even if you could record video, there's no setting for frame rate so lowering the resolution is the only way to extend record time. The playback page ALWAYS locked up (no buttons worked) except immediately after formatting the SD card (when it said there were no recordings). Alarm notifications only tell you the location (cam name) and NOT the type of alarm. Notifications do not contain pictures or video clips even when those are enabled in the menu. There is a hardwire Ethernet port on the same cable as the power plug, which has a cable junction but no way to cap it without a cable (so NOT weatherproof unless a cable is connected). It's designed to mount on a weatherproof box and have the cable end safely indoors, so not a totally outdoor cam.AI detect seems pretty functional, recognizing part of a hand as a human, but sometimes highlights the wrong part of the image. You can have pet/human/vehicle detection, BUT NOT ALL AT THE SAME TIME. That's dumb and I didn't test the pet or vehicle detection. (NOTE: I've toned down my review and added a star after Bulwark reached out about some of the things I mentioned. Kudos to them for monitoring and responding!)

The good first has decent mic you can hear outside really good and it's true full zoom has crisp clear image doesn't lag much on auto focus for the money its a good buy unfortunately for me I bought it for the 50x optical zoom and it's not even close to sunba 36x optical zoom maybe they come up with the 50x zoom because it starts off at neg 20x or something but side by side the 36x sunba can see much further so I'm returning and buying another 36x sunba cuz it's not even close to 50x closer then natural sight and a tip for using this cam drag your finger in direction you want cam to move in short moves to get the cam to move in small increases other wise the whole view moves to a new screen of view but ir is good speed of movement is acceptable but lacks advanced settings and features over all I give it 4 stars for the money but don't expect actual 50x magnification

The BU-H900 PTZ was easy to setup and configure with the CamHiPro Android App. I mounted it outside against a building on the balcony of the third story. The image quality is excellent in the daytime; it tends to be somewhat grainy at night (Intelligent Mode used). At full zoom around 100' away, details are sharp, but the autofocus can be somewhat noticably slow. The video frame rate is a little low because even people walking at a casual pace, you can see trailing artifacts. Its "Humanoid Recognition" and subsequent alarm does not work very well when the subject is directly below; I had to use non-AI pure motion detection to trigger an alarm at the tradeoff of more false alarms. Fortunately, there are 4 rectangular motion regions to confine the alarms. The app's ability to control motion at high magnification suffers because it is not fine enough for the narrow field of view; thus, there is a lot of experimentation with the PT to focus on the subject. But once you have your subject, be sure to make use of the Set positions for later recall; I consider this among the most useful functions of the app. The video playback from a Sandisk Class 10 SD Card performed quite well. There wasn't too much delay to bring up footage. The CamHiPro's app takes a little bit to get used to find the footage of interest but not too bad. There doesn't appear to be a way to turn the camera on/off on a schedule. This ability only exists for scheduling recordings. The audible Alarm is very loud, quite nice. It serves as a decent deterrent.
