Using this in conjunction with any commercial home based router will only cause complications for the user. Once set up, it is a tank. In an enterprise based network, the functionality is on par with the more expensive access points on the network. Like other mikrotik devices, advanced routing protocols are available for use (VLAN separation, OSPF, BGP, etc.) providing various solutions for a network need.

Ayant besoin de diffuser des réseaux WiFi et de relayer une connexion RJ45 Gigabit, ce produit est le seul dans la gamme Mikrotik à répondre à mes attentes. La couverture en 2.4 GHz est très bonne, je n'ai pas beaucoup de références pour juger de celle en 5 GHz. Globalement un très bon produit, à un prix intéressant. Déployé avec d'autres points d'accès et un routeur de la même marque, il bénéficie d'une gestion centralisée : le top.

Mikrotik products offer a full and rich feature set that allow you to do pretty much EVERYTHING, but be warned - the setup is necessarily non-trivial. Hardware is reliable.
