The base is made of solid wood, the support is made of iron, the structure is made of coated chipboard and the cover is made of moulded aluminium powder (does not contain asbestos). My old fold up metal one lasted about 6 months and I only used it every couple of weeks. I can’t see any reason this won’t last for years. It doesn’t fold down but for me that’s no problem at all.

Great product in reasonable price
I literally loved the product. Great for sleeves

Es hat sich definitiv gelohnt ein wenig mehr Geld auszugeben. Das perfekte Ärmel-Bügelbrett!
Wunderbare, stabile Verarbeitung und genug Gewicht damit beim Bügeln nichts wegrutscht . Endlich ein Ärmel-Bügelbrett das den Namen verdient. Kein Aufklappen vor dem Bügeln und dadurch auch kein unerwünschtes Zusammenklappen während des Bügelns. Keine Klappscharniere die dem Ärmel im Weg sind und ein gescheites Ärmel-Bügeln verhindern. Dieses Teil ist hochwertig und unverwüstlich und wird mir viele Jahre praktische Hilfe leisten. Zusätzliches Plus: - es sieht schick aus - hat man auch daas Foppapedretti Bügelbrett gekauft kann man dieses Ärmelbrett einfach beim zusammengeklappten Bügelbrett an der Rückseite einhängen (siehe Foto) Das Ärmelbrett ist jeden Cent wert.
