I'm giving this cold press 5 stars. I have a Jack la Lane juicer for MANY years and love it too. The cold press is new to me and I've read it's more healthy to juice at a slower rate than the high speed heat. The cleaning of the machine is fast and easy. It presses ginger and turmeric perfectly. Also apples and carrot. Lemon and Orange with the peal on. I like the small shoot compared to the large mouth presses, because I only juice for myself and It's expensive to buy a bunch of fruit and veggies and store the extra juice in the fridge. It's a Ninja and the power is plenty! Happy juicing!

I bought two for my small smoothie and juice shop... I already had 2 others, much larger and much more expensive. I like the size and the ease. Cutting the fruit smaller is no problem, simply learning curve dynamic. Use, Price, Quality... very good. ONE PROBLEM... if you use the plunger too hard on harder vegetables like carrots, the pressure inside the circular tube builds up, strong enough to POP, BREAK the simple "twist disconnect" exit tube (SEE PHOTOS). I like the machine alot but might have to weight that one issue.

It clogs especially when you're juicing cucumbers and oranges. I rinse it with water every now and then. Pretty good, hopefully it will last for years.

Ninja should just go ahead and make all of the household and kith en appliances that we use, since they make them much better than almost anyone else. This juicer is another example of that. We had a Magic Bullet juicer that seemed okay until we received this one and tested it out. To say that the difference was night and day is a huge understatement. The Ninja juicer was superior in every way, most importantly in the quality and quantity of juice is created. It’s also amazingly quiet and much easier to clean than the other one we had. This juicer gets my highest recommendation.

We bought this for an up to date juicer. It is easier to clean and store away.
