If your laptop has Bluetooth you connected that way. If not you use the RCA cord that's included that has a headphone jack. Plug it into the headphone jack of your laptop.

Yes you can use a mic with any system. There is literally an adapter for everything. Clearly this unit comes with a regular headphone/phone/tablet audio wire with RCA on the other end...Which mean all you need is a small adapter that takes whatever mic plug and has a 3.5 (regular audio like average headphones or phone) out. So if that sounds confusing it really is not. Figure out what your mic is, if it is the kind that most use, which will plug into an amp, then it will be very easy to find the right adapter, and likely it will cost 15$ or less. We have one here that you could use...Anything that you can plug your mic into that has a 3.5 output will work, even if it is not an adapter. We also have such devices here. REMEMBER, there is an adapter for all things audio and video....you can even buy a adapter that allows you to use your PC to record multiple channels that prevents the cable box from passing along the encryption that prevents recording live TV.
