By no means am I an expert, but using these tools as a beginner made sculpting seem easier than expected. The sculpting tools seem good for detailed work, but the handles are just a bit too small. Part of the handle came off on one of the tools but it seemed to work just fine. I did notice that if you put too much pressure on the wire sculpting tools, than it would bend a little (something I would imagine would rectify itself with experience, however I did find myself correcting the tool quite often), and the spatula seemed a little flimsy when scraping the inside. Overall, good purchase I see myself using this for future projects

Loved this set! I had a pumpkin carving party at my house and laid out this set. It was perfect and there were tools for everyone. The quality is great and worked 100x better than using a regular knife. I used this set with my adult kids and their friends, but believe kids of all ages can use this as well as nothing or too sharp or pointy, but still gets the job done with ease. Plus, if you are trying to do intricate designs, you need various tools and all is included in this set. The storage compartment that comes with is also of good quality and keeps everything organized and in one place for next year.

This is quite an impressive price point for such a sturdy pumkin carving kit! Not a single tool bent or broke while carving and all tools were easy to wash.

Good for about one use. We used it last year and kept it for this year. When we used it this year, the metal gave out on a few of the tools. They snapped off where the plastic handle is. The metal used if very cheap and fragile. But, for a cheap kit, it got the job done for a few pumpkins worth of carving. I would say this kit is good for one session.

Carved 3 pumpkins with these and they held up well. Nice to have a better set than the cheap packs found in stores. Many tools to use in various ways.
