A little goes a long way, spread thinly, very important to know!
Tastes just like I remembered from about 4 years ago. Delicious on buttered hot English muffin. Perfect for breakfast.Grew up in London, England and always had Marmite in the cupboard. No need to refrigerate. A taste of back home!Seller shipped on time and arrived in a timely manner. However the bubble wrap was only thick on one side, and nothing to protect on other side, lucky it didn't break in the semi padded? bag. Other than that, pleased with purchase. If you never tried Marmite, it's not like anything you've eaten. For people who like tart, sour, marinated foods, then you will like Marmite. It's salty too, so I can't eat much on a low sodium diet. They make one that is low sodium but I anted the original.

Goes perfectly with bad decisions and regret!! And makes sauces for roasts richer and delicious!
I bought this to add to people’s sandwiches when they piss me off. And to add to sauces for roasts. Mostly for the sauces. So don’t piss me off. Grrrr!

Unique, but great taste

Expensive, but very good.
Very expensive, but delicious. Very salty.

Team marmite! Wish was bigger and less expensive but hey. I buy it.
You love it or absolutely hate it. I’m team marmite. Would be team bovril but can’t find any. Expensive but tasty. Just use sparingly and give it a couple of tries.

Beefy, salty and delicious.
It’s delicious, (but an acquired taste) and you only need a very small amount. A jar lasts months. It’s great in a cheese sandwich, in soups and stews and anything you want to have a beefy taste with some salt. Try it. Hopefully you’ll like it.

Give Marmite a Chance
I don’t know why some people don’t like Marmite. It is solid dose of b vitamins and it’s salty and yeasty and I find it delicious

A product worthy of the nearest trashbin.
I hoped to write a glowing review about Marmite's savory taste, easy spreading and good value for the money. But, I can't. Not that those fine points might not be true, but I simply was unable to open the #@$%&*#@! jar- (Too damn tight ;-( ). The top is plastic, so, it is not amenable to my usual technique, wherein I dent the metal top by striking the perimeter of the metal top with a butter knife, making the vacuum seal weaker.I tried this for over 15 grunting minutes with no success. Next, I pit the top of the upside-down jar in shallow hot water.Again, it was, "No Go, Joe!"I feel like Wily Coyote having his issues with his Acme Corporation purchases.
