are the skip-bo cards regular card size or smaller?

The new size is smaller and they bend/crease in half when you shuffle them. They feel more like cardboard. I keep trying to order an older version, but they keep sending me the new version.

Is this basically the same thing as uno?

Not at all. I find Uno a much simpler, repetitive game. Skip Bo has many more actions going on, more to watch for. The cards may look alike in appearance, but the games are different.

Are there 11s in the deck?

Yes........the cover of the box has the "SkipBo" card as the "11" just to show that this card can be used as ANY number from one to twelve. That makes the game so much fun, as you are hoping the other person(s) don't have a certain number and then a SkipBo shows up in place of it out of another's hand. ENJOY the game......we LOVE it!!
