Best Chair Ever
I have had my HON Solve for 4 years now (it was $275 at the time I purchased it). It's still in perfect condition considering how much I use it- it's probably the only chair in the house I sit in for all of these years too (I do everything at my desk- the computer desk is my work and entertainment center). I have a similar Solve chair (the high end version) at my desk at the office which I have had for about 5 years now (pleather and plastic, it was $500 at the time, but my company purchased it). Highly recommended, and if anything were to ever happen to either chair, I would replace them with the exact same HON Solve thing without a second thought. HON is a fantastic brand and I am beyond happy with their chairs.

Nice comfortable chair
This is a very sturdy, well-made chair. I purchased it for my son as his first desk chair, but I like it too! It's incredibly customizable, so everyone can find a comfortable way to sit. It was also easy to put together.

Adjusts to fit all
THIS CHAIR IS HIGH QUALITY, WELL MADE, AND VERY COMFORTABLE. IT ADJUSTS TO MY SHORT FRAME QUITE WELL. The only problem is the lumbar support bar does not stay in place and requires frequent re-adjusting.

Try before buying
Chair appears to be decently constructed but seat cushion is extremely hard, seat back is very rough (have to drape towel over back) and lumbar has minimal adjustment. There is a tension knob underneath but turning it either direction doesn't seem to change anything. Customer Service from seller is extremely slow to respond and had to have Amazon ping them to respond. They also charge a 30% restocking fee and do not pay for return shipping so make sure this is the chair you want or it won't be economically reasonable to return it.

A Nice Product!
I am sitting in the chair as I write this review. It is a very nice office chair for my computer. Made in USA and everything. This product is just fine for what I will need it for. Thank You! Deb

I liked this chair -- but then it broke, with me in it, and I fell
Ive tried to upload photos but it keeps crashing Amazon. Chair broke, I fell.

Good, affordable chair for all day comfort.
First off, comfort is very subjective. If you have the option, I'd recommend visiting a few stores and sitting in some chairs instead of just rolling the dice based on what some jerk (me) says in an Amazon review. I knew going in to this that the seat cushion had been described as firm, in many reviews, on various websites. The thing is, I've had chairs in the $100 - $200 range that had very soft cushions. A few months later, the seat covering would be coming apart, or I'd be able to feel bolt heads in the base of the seat. Just in general, I was willing to gamble with firm, versus soft and weak-willed. I'm glad that I did. This chair does, in fact, have a firm seat cushion. My initial response upon first sitting was, "this isn't going to work." But I decided to sit in it for several days, and my litmus test would be to see how quickly I forgot about my chair, and how often I was reminded of it due to any discomfort. It turns out, it's very comfortable for me. Almost immediately I forgot about the chair, and I only thought about the chair when I would stand to take a bathroom break, or lunch break. I think it's important to test as I did, because often our first impression is based on an immediate "plush" feel, that ends up not being so great for all day use. Definitely find a chair with a 30-day trial, or go to a store and sit, and engage in conversation to take your mind off the the chair for 10 to 15 minutes. And if you are brought back to reality during that time due to discomfort, it's not the chair for you. Okay, you get the point. I'm a 5' 10" male with a thick, stocky build, and I'm also about 35 pounds overweight, at 215 lbs. Just to give you an idea of what the chair is supporting. Overall build quality of the chair is decent. I was disappointed to find that the base of the chair, along with the arms and back brace, are made of heavy duty plastic. HON states that the chair is assembled in the USA (nice!) and has a lifetime warranty, so long as you don't weigh more than 300 lbs. I suppose the plastic parts are up to the task, but I still would have preferred a metal build. The plastic base does seem very robust. The included wheels feel like bendy plastic trash. I immediately replaced them with some non-scuff roller-blade type chair wheels. The plastic arms seem cheap. I'm sure they're strong, but I make a conscious effort to never use them to push off while standing up. The back is comfortable to me, and it allows plenty of airflow, so I don't sweat while I work. The lumbar support is just a flexible plastic strap that you can raise up or down three inches or so. It's a cheap solution, but it works fine. It "blends" in with the stretchy mesh and you don't feel like there is a plastic piece pushing on your lower back. It's more than adequate for me. As far as adjusts go, you have the following: 1. Lever under the left side of the seat - Allows the seat cushion to slide forward and back. 2. Lever under the right side of the seat - Lowers/raises the seat cushion. Also locks/unlocks recline feature. 3. Knob under the middle/front of the seat - Adjusts the tension for the recline feature. 4. Sliding plastic lumbar strap - Adjusts the lumbar support up/down through about a 3 inch range. 5. Button under each armrest - Lowers/raises the armrests through adequate range. 6. Sliding armrest pads - Adjusts the width of the armrests in/out. Every adjustment can be reached while sitting in the chair, even the lumbar strap. In fact, the lumbar strap has tabs on it that allow you to reach back and shift it up or down to your liking. Some of the adjustments aren't very fluid, but to me it's one of those things that you dial in over the first week, and then rarely touch again. If this review gets any traffic, I'm sure it's due to the CV19 pandemic that we're all enjoying so much right now. Prior to this chair, I was actually in between office chairs because I didn't need one. Suddenly, I was working from home, and found that a dining chair is actually not great for all day use. I picked up this chair on sale from Overstock for ~$250. I had been contemplating going with a re-manufactured Steelcase Leap chair, in the $400 range. Decided to try this one first. I later sat in a Leap, and while it's a better build quality, I found it less comfortable. I also sat in a Herman Miller Aeron that I much preferred, but I'm way too cheap for that. You'll need to decide how much to invest in a chair, based on any physical issues you have, and the duration that you'll be sitting in it. Consider this one the "bargain buy" commercial use chair.
