I see in the picture of someone’s review that it is not form fitting .. I want it to fit form fitting close to the body.. does it fit like the picure?

I just washed mine in hot water and dried it in the dryer... It NOW fits more "form fitting". The neck is even MORE snug and THAT i like! I don't need any cold air coming through.. I DID buy one size up just incase it shrunk due to the cotton. The sleeve length still is at the wrist (not the elbow), and the length is Still over my hips (Not at my waist) I cannot attest to YEARS or even Months of washing and drying, as to If it will Stop shrinking or not... but for ONE wash? You want form fitting? Just buy one size up, wash it like i did and you will get that... At least I did! Hope that helps you decide.

How do you wash and dry the turtleneck?

Since it’s cotton, I wash it in cold water, delicate cycle. I put it in the dryer on the lowest cycle for a few minutes, then lay flat to dry the rest of the way. If it’s a dark or bright color, turn inside out for washing.

Is the "blue" a true royal blue?

I would not call it a Royal Blue.
