Great little dots, "brads" and embellishments
I make junk journals and other paper crafts, and love dotting with these. The applicator is perfect, I don't recommend cutting it wider because the paint flows so well. Another use is to apply a bit to ypur finger to rub over wax seals, embossing or textured paper. Used along the edge of torn or rippled paper, it stays put.
