This was once a high quality tool. This new iteration is decidedly flimsier and cheaply constructed.

The finish on the base was pathetic for a so called machined surface. The plane has a nice appearance to it but looks does not determine the quality of a tool. Would not recommend.

Sole is curved!! , blade machined poorly with deep machining marks. Felt like initializing a rustted old 60s plane, very disappointing

Product did not work. It appeared used and rusted with the adjustment wheel rusted in place. I returned item and this web-site stated the refund was issued February 28, 2025, yet was NEVER received.

Rispetto a diverse recensioni che ho letto, non ho dovuto rettificare la suola ne le sponde. La suola è perfettamente liscia, le sponde assolutamente verticali e in squadro con la suola. Già qui, cominciamo molto bene! La regolazione di questo pialletto è molto semplice, con la vite a ghiera posteriore si può decidere facilmente di quanto far sporgere la lamma, decidendo così la profondità di piallata, con le altre si può regolare bene l'inclinazione e l'apertura della bocca della pialla. Non sono un esperto falegname e ho tanta strada da fare per padroneggiare la piallatura che è una vera arte, ma posso dire con certezza che questo strumento agevola il lavoro anche a una persona non espertissima come me e il risultato è pulito, il truciolo è lungo e a spirale come nei video, e la superficie piallata praticamente non ha bisogno di carteggiatura. Sono veramente soddisfatto, credo che inizierò a risparmiare per comprare la sorella maggiore da 170 euro.
