Good Study Guide!
Many have posted because the information in the book was not on the test. That's the point! It's a "study guide", not a "study test" (if that's even a thing)! It serves a purpose to get you ready for the concepts that may be presented on the test, not the actual test questions themselves! I passed the Professional Knowledge exam on my first try and I purchased this book. I also used other sources to make sure I was familiar with the concepts and not what I thought the questions would be! Big difference! Purchase this to study the content!

Use as a study guide
I enjoy using this book as a study guide. It refresh my memory with all vocabulary words. The practice questions in each sections are the best. Plus a practice exam at the end of the book. Of course, it not a book with the answers only it’s a book that you can used to write flash cards or refresh your memory before you take the actual exam

Good read, just not for the NES test.
Though the text was well written, almost none of the information covered in it was on the test. I'd suggest paying for one elsewhere - perhaps the NEStest site. For example, I spent a week studying the theorists in the book and none were mentioned at all on the test. Also, though I am glad they had access to multiple different practice tests, again, none of this information was in the actual test.

I bought this to pass a test and it worked. It is a study guide though so if you do not know it review, review, review!!!!
