Epica Incontinence Bed Pads Washable Waterproof, 34"x52" (1 Pack), USA Made

These have been excellent, running 4 years strong - leakproof on kids beds. Buying more because we now have more kids! I ordered another brand that hugs the mattress like a fitted sheet but those didn’t hold up as waterproof and were a pain to have an additional fitted item. These were the winner by far! Thick yet easy to wash and dry, they don’t really move while on bed. Perfect for kid beds!

I have a daughter with a medical condition in which she produces an extremely large quantity of urine both during the day and the night. During the day it is no problem as she is potty trained, however, at night she produces 32+ oz of liquid. Needless to say, in an attempt to avoid waking up every two hours to change her, (or making her wake up to go to the bathroom) we have tried many, many products for both her and the bed. All of the mattress protector options have either been fitted (which is a problem for a top bunk and require a great deal more work to change than an sit-on-top protector) or so thin that they get crumpled and move around. This often means that they move out from under her and the bed gets wet anyway. Enter "Epica Premium Quality Bed Pads (34" x 52")" I took a gamble because the only picture shows it on a double or queen bed however, as you can see by my photo, this sized mattress pad covers almost to the edges of a twin bed and goes quite far down the bed too. They are a nice, thick, heavyweight material combination so they don't bunch up and manage to stay in place all night. In addition to this, last night my daughters g-tube popped out of her stomach and started pumping liquid onto the mattress protector. It did not leak through to the mattress at all. There are many other mattress protectors that will do the job, but for me, these are the best because of the total ease of changing and the fact that they are so large that not once has one slipped around and moved out of place at night. Obviously, the fact that they are actually waterproof is pretty important, too. ;-) I highly recommend this product!

This pad is very nice quality and should perform as advertised. Its purpose is to protect my mattress from my pet napping on the bed. I purchased the larger size to cover a greater area and a wiser decision.

Nice size to fit over larger area of the bed. The weight & thickness of the pad keeps it in place instead of shifting around. Very comfortable with a waterproof lining. The size is versatile and can be used horizontally or vertically. Very nice quality, color and can be used in many ways. Seeing that the quality is very good, I plan on buying another one.

After three or four fitted mattress protectors with great ratings promising waterproof-ness and washability (the last of which I actually returned for leaking after less than a month of use, peed on and everything, because I was so MAD about wasting my money on protectors that become permeable after a few washes), these things have finally solved my problems and protected my poor ruined mattress. It's as if we don't have the technology to make a thin, fitted mattress protector. When I saw this listing, I remembered using something like these in the hospital when I was a nurse. But this thing catches and holds a whole bladder full of pee and is super easy to throw in the washer and dryer in the morning--no annoying air drying or being paranoid about running the dryer on low. I bought two and I've always got one on hand for clean sheets. I will NEVER buy a thin fitted thing again as long as I'm raising kids! This is perfect. Put it on the bed under the fitted sheet, throw it in the wash with regular detergent in the morning. It's so easy. It protects the bed 100% and it doesn't retain the pee smell. So happy with this purchase and wish I had found it sooner!

Works great, absorbs leaks (I have an incontinent senior dog and her diapers don't always work) and keeps my mattress dry and clean. I've washed it several times with no problems, although I don't put it in the dryer and probably wouldn't recommend doing so considering the underside is a bit plasticy. It's large enough to cover half of a full size bed on width and from head to roughly knees in length. It's also not super hard or crinkly, I don't even notice it under my fitted sheet. Very happy with the purchase.

Very happy. It is bigger than I thought. Almost half of a king bed. I can't talk about durability, because I have had it just for one week, but I have washed it once with a little bleach and it came out of the washing machine as new. I should have bought it a month ago.
