Easy installation!
This was a breeze for me. I took a picture of the tank to make sure everything would be oriented correctly when I installed the new valve. I took out the old valve and adjusted the new one to same exact length as the old. Reused the siphon tube, hooked everything back up and turned the water back on. Bingo, everything worked perfectly. Didn't even have to adjust the fill level. No more than a 20 minute job. The toilet is an American Standard 4339 4348. The 2 valves are pretty much identical and made by FluidMaster.

It was easy to install . Less than 30 minutes realistically. Would recommend to a friend.

It’s not an OEM part
It’s a Fluidmaster part not actual American Standard. I was trying to buy an OEM part. Maybe they use these in their toilets now. I could have bought this at Lowe’s.

Beware of other brands
Excellent. Everything worked the way it was suppose to. No problems. This one cost a dollar or two more but it is worth it.

Not American Standard
This is NOT American Standard, It is fluidmaster I could have bought at lowes for 10.00 less. Works fine But not as advertised.

The product arrived quickly and was as advertised. Clear installation instructions as well as online videos if needed. Hard to give a 5 star review, however, for the cost of what amounts a few simple plastic parts to fix a toilet!.
