Westcott Pinking Shears, 9.5-Inches (15983),White, Gray
These pinking shears work great and are far more reasonable than fiskars that are outrageously priced. I don't know why people didn't like them or found them to be hard to use unless you have very arthritic or severe problem with your hands. My hands have gotten weak over time but I found these very comfortably, easy to use with no problems and very sharp. I've bought other scissors by Westcott and find them to be a great brand of scissors at a reasonable cost.

awesome pinking
Great scissors. They use ball bearings this makes a better cutting motion. I am a big fan of Wescott products. They right up there with the other brands. Might be better. I put oil on the bearings to make them move smoother.

Not the best, nor the worst
I'm on the fence about these. They are very tight out of the package They don't have a screw type adjustment; I think they require a key. This causes them to rub against my thumb. Also the cut is not as deep as I'm accustomed to; it is sort of a scalloped/pinking cut. But they appear to be well made & judging by reviews of other brands, there just isn't much under $40.00 to choose from these days.

Quality Problem...
Westcott is a well known company in scissors shear making industry. The one I bought is bad and dull. I do not even make it cut right on the first try out as seen in the picture. I hope Westcott will pay more attention to making this product.

Cut well
Out of 6 pair, only one was defective (Victorian design) due to shipping. Since they’re plastic over metal, packaging should be reconsidered. Perhaps a box with bubble/air packets. These cut smooth and doesn’t crunch or tear the paper.Definitely recommend!

Perfect cut every time.
Good solid cut without snags or tears. Love the brand. Exceptional quality.

Unfortunately not what I hoped
The handles are comfortable to hold and easy to grip, but there seems to be a lot of friction between the blades that makes it difficult to pull them apart. In addition, unless you're cutting very, very close to the pivot point (the screw that holds the 2 blades together), it's extremely difficult to get them to cut even thin fabric. I'm not sure if perhaps I just got a dud pair of scissors, but I wouldn't purchase these again.
