The Pilgrim Pair, Encore Edition, Animated Salt & Pepper Shakers Set From the Publix Television Commercial. Thanksgiving Pair of Collectable Characters

So I guess I'm going to have to tell you WHY this is our second set. Basically- I am a little overly accident prone. Seriously- they left it on the counter, in plain view, away from every edge imaginable, and how do I break it? My shirt gets caught on it, causing to fall down and basically loose a foot. If that isn't bad enough- This has happened to me 3 times. So what do I do, knowing thanksgiving is coming? Buy a new one, and hope that I don't break it again. XP Seriously though- it's a really cute set, and the parents are happy to have it back.

This is an adorable set, the problem is that they came with NO protection and they were both broken and could hear the carnage when I picked the box up from my porch....and was so sad to see these really cute pilgrams in pieces. I have them ready to ship back to who sent them to me, but really people, you should secure these things really well, so our children can enjoy using them on Thanksgiving.

We don't have a Publix here so I have no idea what the commercials are. I just ordered these for Thanksgiving. I absolutely love them. I didn't expect them to be so big. They're perfect.

I had been looking for these in my local publix stores to no avail. Decided to buy online and was very happy when they arrived promptly. Upon taking them out of the box, I noticed the pilgrim man had a very noticeable chip in his hand, which to me was not that big a deal, as I thought maybe I could match the color with a sharpie pen. My daughter convinced me to just return them and get another set, which I did. My return was trouble free and fast, but upon reordering another set, I noticed the price had increased by $2.00. Hence, my 4 star rating instead of 5. I would think I could have just returned the defective set and receive another damage free for the same price I paid in the first place. Other than that, the new set was perfect and I enjoyed getting to use them on our thanksgiving dinner table.

very cute...but it does retain some moisture in the salt shaker....even after letting it sit for a couple hours after rinsing.

these guys were best addition to our Thanksgiving table. The fact that they are functional as the salt & pepper, the looks great as part of the decorations on the table and most of all they make everyone smile! Shipping was so fast and they were in perfect condition!
