I like the wire, socket, and cover for these light weight E10 sockets. I've used eight of the sockets so far and have had no problems with the sockets or soldering the single filament wires. I'm using these to add lighting to a remote control truck for use in a very dark area. I received these on time, but was surprised that the last shipping leg was through USPS, I saw nothing in the tracking information that indicated this. The attached picture is from a battery/socket/bulb check.

I used these to install small LED lamps inside a beer display. Hole size is just over 1/2", with outer ring somewhere around 5/8" - probably metric. Installed in an oversized 1/2" hole - nice and tight, and applied a bit of silicone RTV afterwards. Worked great with an E10 base LED bulb. Red positive and Green negative.

I’m not sure what happened. The bulbs, the connectors, the potatoes, the lemons… something. We tried multiple different methods and no lit bulbs. Bummer. My kids were sooo excited!! Why did you pick this product vs others?: Perfect for HS science labs.
