Sturdy, simple hand blender with a metal head attachment
During the winter, my wife and I cook soups for supper several times a week. In the past, we used hand blenders with plastic head attachments, but we found that they quickly become deformed when blending hot soup. We bought our first of these hand blenders four years ago and never had a problem with it until recently, when one of the small parts inside the attachment came loose due to many years of regular use. Unfortunately, Morphy Richards' doesn't do spares of the attachment for this hand blender, so we had to buy a complete new unit. However, given how much we use it and how long the original one lasted us, it was a no-brainer to buy the same unit again. It doesn't have any other attachments, but we'd use a jug blender/food processor for anything else anyway. Highly recommended.

Really good
My old "whizzer" died on me, this looked well made & a reasonable price so I got it. I've not used the other bits but as a blender it's much better than my old one! It has two buttons for speed/torque as well as a "slider" to add more power/speed, really impressed so far.

Excellent hand blender but beware
Good balance of power and weight. Very “chef-like” in handling Tools attach easily. After several months of use the cutter has developed a smell probably caused by trapped food. Impossible to clean. The smell affects blender food and hence can no longer be used.

Did not last long
Nice box of parts etc. Worked for a few weeks then stopped entirely - not the fuse etc, just no longer working. Maybe what we were smooshing was too much for it but our other blender coped fine and still works - just a bit worn out. This one gave up teh ghost after a few uses. Amazon would not take a return as it was after deadline - we had it stored for a few months before using it. The company wanted to see the warranty which we did not set up on puchasing and would not take the Amazon invoice as proof, so we're stuck with lots of parts that don't connect to anything else. This adds to landfill and was not a great way to start with this brand.

Yes
All bits work well. Lining up the drive bit to the whizzy bit needs a bit of concentration but only takes a few seconds. Ideal for a bachelor who doesn’t need a full blown processor. And I haven’t spun yuk all over the place yet.

Good while it lasted.
I've found this really useful but now, in the space of a few weeks, the whisk attachment and the chopper/mixer have broken and the blender blade seems quite blunt and won't work so well. As I only bought this in 2022 (3yrs ago) I don't feel this has lasted a reasonable length of time. Previously I had a fairly similar Morphy Richards set which lasted 7 years. Shame.
