The Bluetooth in this phone actually works with Bluetooth hearing aids!
These phones are the ONLY Bluetooth enabled landline phones that I've come across that actually work with the Bluetooth device that effectively turns my hearing aids into a Bluetooth headset. I tried several different models that were supposed to pair with Bluetooth headsets, but this is the only one that will do it with my Phonak hearing aids. I even tried a device from my audiologist that is supposed to turn any telephone into a Bluetooth phone, but it cost almost as much and didn't work as well as this phone. I've had three of these phones...one at work, one at home, and I just bought another one for my home office to ensure I can use the phone in my office without the Bluetooth breaking up. Bluetooth range is actually pretty good, but in a split level the signal doesn't carry as well, especially with a strong wireless router in the mix. Each of these phones has worked the way it's supposed...not a lemon in the bunch. The cordless handset that comes in this package is not Bluetooth-enabled, but for me the cordless is a convenience I can take or leave. I bought this for the base. The cordless functions more as a way for me to quickly answer the phone when I'm in a room without the Bluetooth base phone, and then get the caller to hang on while I go to my "real" phone. The cordless does work with hearing aids but in a different way than Bluetooth, and is not nearly as clear. These phone seem quite nice in general. They're solid and well-made...buttons are large enough to see, and feel solid when you push them. The speaker is so good I can even use speakerphone for short conversations, which is something I've never been able to do with another phone. Highly recommend, especially for folks with Bluetooth enabled Phonak hearing aids.

Excellent experience, Customer Service, and really happy with the unit.
I wanted to replace my two line phone unit for home and business with an more up to date unit. During my research I came across this model. I've had good experiences previously with AT&T and I liked the blue tooth capability so I can talk on my cell while I'm at my desk using my wireless headset. Its really efficient given my two phones lines I already have at the house. I can also access all the lineds through the wireless handset so I only need to carry the handset with me around the house if I want and leave the cell phone at the desk or recharging while roaming the house and still be able to dial and receive calls. The sound quality is very good and I was actually a little surprised. I think I was preparing myself to experience a trade off with degraded sound quality for the convenience but everything worked great. I was happily disappointed. I did contact customer service as I was having a problem with getting the handset's 2.5mm audio jack to work with my wired headset. I wasn't able to get the audio plug to "seat" into the port (or so I thought at the time). After working with a different wired headsets that I used with my previous phone system (that was also a 2.5mm plug) and it worked fine I thought there was a problem with the new handset plug. I called customer service and talked to a nice person in tech support. Since it was a hardware problem there was limited setup issues that could be the problem so AT&T sent me a return label and sent out another unit right away. I thought they could just send another handset to pair with the base unit but they had to send an complete new unit. The handset and base unit are evidently tied (master/slave) together from what I could tell. Realized after getting the same issue with the new unit that I was a little frustrated and pushed the plug in with more force than what I'm used to and found that the plug went in further and finally seated appropriately. The sound works very well through the handset now and works grate. I had no issues with the return, I got the features I was looking for which all work. I don't have anything specific that I can think of that's a detractor at this point so I gave it 5 stars. I did order a Plantronics wireless headset to work with the phone when I couldn't get the wired headset to work the way I was expecting and really needed to be mobile. The wireless headset works great with the phone so I ended up keeping that as well. Very handy to walk while talking and not have to have the handset in tow. I can only answer, mute, and hang up one line at a time. I can't change lines on the wireless if another call comes in while I'm on a line already. The sound quality is very good.

Good base set, hand sets receive weak signals
Bought this for an office in an old house (base and two hand sets). The handsets do not receive good signals in other parts of the house. Voices are garbled and you cannot carry on a conversation. The base set works fine and voices are clear. Took me a while to get the hang of all the features (probably just me). I was disappointed the handsets do not receive good signals. Due to historic restrictions, we are unable to run a hard wire to other areas and thought the hand sets would be a good solution. We wanted a dedicated phone system, rather than using personal cell phones because we are staffed with many volunteers. I have an AT&T system at my home which is now 30 years old. All the handsets receive good signals in any part of of a three-story house and even outside. Alas, products do change.

Nice 2 line phone system
Work great for my business. 2 lines, wish the phone numbers were easier to get to, but over all, works great. Learning curve on the hand piece. 2 mail boxes are nice also.

I am very pleased with this item
I am very pleased with this item. PROS: - Good quality material - Good design - Very good sound quality - Easy connection with bluetooth phone - You can connect almost any type of headset bluetooth - Compatible with wireless headset (ONLY at&t) I connect with the TL7800 CONS: - In my case, perform Bluetooth connection with my cell phone and a headset bluetooth, IF YOU RECEIVE A CALL YOUR CELL PHONE IS NOT POSSIBLE ANSWER WITH HEADSET BLUETOOTH (both are connected via Bluetooth on the phone) I find it curious.. this phone has a lot of options but this is important and can not answer the call.

It's a cheap piece of junk -5 stars if I could
This is a good looking phone. Everything about this phone LOOKS good. In fact, this phone almost gleams as it sits there grinning at you from that small corner of your desk where phones just GO. The day it was delivered, I ordered a second one just like it. Why? Cuz I have two desks that needed phones and DAMN this was one fine, sexy phone. Both of these exceptionally good looking phones worked great for the first couple of months, then, in all their beautiful splendor, made a mutual death pact and died within days of each other. Well, almost died. Sometimes it happens that even the best-planned, well-executed self-destruction fails. In that case, the sad remains are left to languish in a kind of "not-quite-dead" but "not-really-alive" (AKA brain dead) state. Such is the case with these fine looking hunks of chromed plastic, convenient cordless handsets and backlit keypad buttons. (BEAUTIFUL!) Neither phone has any working electronics after their sad, sad decision to end it all. No displays, no access to the second line whatsoever, no answering machine function, no hold function, no bluetooth function... nothing that might be powered by electricity. The phone does make a death rattle ring-gasp type sound when someone calls but you'd better be sitting right there when that event occurs if you plan to hear it. The cordless handset doesn't work at all, other than to display WHY it doesn't work. (Base no power) Yeah, we know but thanks for that update, useless handset. In case you're still reading, yes, the power is connected to the base and has also been connected to various 110v outlets in two different households AND multiple outlets in my office. Since new, the units were connected to a high Jule surge protector which is connected to a battery backup. (I need phones and those phones need to ring 24/7) Nothing else on the circuit has a problem but BOTH of these phones die within days of each other...?? Hmmmmmm. Thinking it's nothing but the phones. If you were wondering why I don't "just order a new power supply" I'll tell you: this power supply is some kind of unholy aberration with a cord that terminates into what looks like an oversized RJ-11 connector. If you're not google savvy, an RJ-11 connector is the squarish end part of a landline phone cord that connects the wall to the phone. And no, I didn't get drunk when setting up the phone and NO, I didn't plug the power cord into the phone port. One is red and both are clearly marked. Besides, the power cord won't plug into the RJ-11 port. No, this was a self-inflicted, self-destructive, self-administered wound on the part of the phone itself. So now, the grandkids have some pretty realistic toy telephones and I have learned a very expensive lesson.

Good full featured 2 line speakerphone with extras
I bought this phone as a spare for when the one I am currently using (exact same model) wears out. It has so many features and is well suited for work-at-home or a small office. There's a reason this phone has been in AT&T's line for many years. . . because it offers a lot of features for the money. On my phone, I use Line 1 as a standard landline. Line 2 is a Magic Jack phone line. Plus, I have my i-phone cell hooked up via the phone's bluetooth system. So, the phone rings even if my cellphone is in another nearby room. There are provisions to add an additional cellphone or a wireless headset. About the only significant feature it does not have is call blocker. But I just turn down the ringer sound when I am working, to prevent robocall interruptions. Pressing and holding the # QUIET button and then keying in 1-12 hours also silences the ringer for a predetermined amount of time. There are two separate answering machines for the two wired lines. Each can be switched on or off independantly. I could get along without a corded phone but just like having one at my desk. I use the cordless handheld unit (one provided) in my bedroom. I also have directories of phone numbers stored in the phone's memory. My Apple I-phones (a 4s and an SE) have no problems pairing with it or uploading my I-phone contacts. Sometimes, it is just nice to have a directory of phone numbers for when you want to make a quick call and your cellphone is not handy There is even a data port under the phone, which I use to connect my old style fax modem, that I still use occasionally. This is one of those feature packed products where they've thought of almost everything. The silver colored front panel looks nice and matches the cabinet of my Mac mini computer. These are available from various sources as reconditioned. But the price for the new ones is so low that it makes more sense to just buy a new one.

Not hsppy
I would have sent it back, but the box got throw n away? Not easy to set up. Cell phone kept knocking the announcement off. My calls must have the calls announced since my husband doesn’t see. Hand set is not easy to add new names. Wished I had gotten one that didn’t include cell answering. My fault on that feature. I do like the corded phone. My husband knows that the stationary phone will always be able to find. Going to give it a try for a while. Might have to just lose my money on this system.

Auricular alámbrico no funciona.
El auricular con cordón no funciona, cuando recibo una llamada yo sí oigo a la persona que llamó, pero la persona no me oye, entonces tengo que usar el speaker para contestar, por eso pido la devolución y el reembolso.
