I paired this strip with a dimmable LED power supply and a smart dimmer switch so I could control it through my smart home setup, and it’s been working perfectly. The light output looks bright, clean daylight white, and the color quality is, in my opinion, excellent. The strip itself feels very well made. The coating is thick and durable, and the adhesive backing is much better than the thin, flimsy tape you see on a lot of LED strips. It sticks well and feels like it’s built to last. The only slightly frustrating part was using standard clip connectors for cut sections, like when spanning gaps between cabinets. Because of the rubberized waterproof coating, I had to carefully shave and trim it with a razor to get it to fit properly into the connectors. It took some patience, but I was able to make it work. I highly recommend measure, cutting, and putting connectors in place before using the adhesive. That said, this is also what makes the strip feel so well protected and weather-resistant, so it’s really a trade-off rather than a flaw. I've attached some pics to show what my final product looks like after shaving off the rubber. Not pretty but hey, you can't see it on the bottom of a cabinet ;) If I where to install these in my kitchen again, I would have put it up with painters tape at first to get the position and cuts figured out, then make the cuts and splicing with it all taken down. Again, the adhesive that it comes with is great! If you have no cuts to make, the ease of installation is as simple as pulling off the tape cover, and slapping it where ever you want it. Overall, the lighting quality, build quality, and durability more than make up for the extra effort during installation. If you’re looking for a bright, high-quality LED strip (especially for a more permanent setup) this is an excellent choice.

Pros: Really bright (almost TOO bright for some applications); very simple to install, conveniently cut to the exact length that you need, it is also adhesive backed and the width of the strips fits into any of the standard aluminum LED strip rails. The strips are also quite flexible so you should have no problem adhering it to even strange shapes. You don't need any special tools to connect the wiring, just wire caps to connect the red/black wire, or even just electric tape is adequate for such an efficient light. You don't need any special power supply either, just a 12v will do -- you probably even have some already laying around from old retired gadgets. These strips are rated IP67 waterproof so you can even use them outdoors where you expect rain! IP67 is even good for up to 30 minutes of COMPLETELY immersion in water -- however its not a good idea to install these in a gutter or in the pool. Cons: Doesn't come with a power supply; fortunately 12v power supplies are not too expensive. You may want an adjustable voltage power supply because at 12v these strips are extremely bright.

Very bright strip of lights. It does run on 12 volts so using them for a vehicle application is ideal. The color is a solid white and the strip is pretty long. They feel like they are made very well and will last you a long time. The edges are sealed so they feel like they are completely waterproof. I feel like I got a pretty good value with these. My only issue is they are not exactly the cob I am used to. I am used to the entire strip lighting up where these you can actually see the lights inside. -I am reviewing this as an Amazon Vine participant. I am using this COB LED strip light in daylight white and testing it as part of a project to make a portable lighting setup for camping or emergency use. The strip is 16.4 feet long and operates on 12 volts. The light strip itself feels thicker and slightly heavier than some LED strips I have used before. It comes wound on a reel inside a foil package, with red and black power wires already attached. When connected to a battery, the strip produces a very bright, even white light. The light output is consistent along the length of the strip and does not show visible individual LEDs, which gives it a smooth light appearance. The strip has a flexible design and an outer coating that appears intended for waterproof use. The end of the strip has a rubber tip that seems to provide some added protection. I plan to use this strip to make a removable camping light inside a white bucket that can be connected to and disconnected from a battery. Based on initial testing, the brightness level works well for that type of use. Power supply is not included with the strip and has no adhesive backing.

I've used the typical cuttable LED strip lights for several projects before and thought I would give these a try for some outdoor ideas I have. So far I'm really impressed with these. They work essentially the same way as the standard ones, using the same power supply and being cuttable at the same interval. I am really surprised at how seamless the light is, showing no sign of there being individual LEDs underneath. They are also nice and bright. The cover material is flexible but substantial, so they seem quite durable. It remains to be seen if the adhesive will hold up outside on inverted surfaces like a house eave, but it's trivial to add a pin or bracket every so often. Overall, I think these are going to work great.

This is a review for the VOEWT LED strip light. The light comes rolled up within a sealed plastic bag. No power supply is included; it is 16.4' long and can be cut to size at designated spots. It is also very flexible and easily installed and is waterproof.

Great price. Nice bright light. Perfect for my under cabinet lighting. Well made.
