Functionality of these red LED flashlights is great. Value for the money for two of these was right on point. I would definitely buy again. Zoom feature was awesome when trying to find rodents hiding in my fruit trees. Battery life was as expected and lasted quite a while.

These are great red LED flashlights, perfect for walking around at night at star parties or when setting up or tearing down your telescope and other astronomy equipment. I really like that you can focus or expand the area being illuminated. However, these are BRIGHT! Be careful where you shine these at night. You will ruin someone's dark adapted vision if you shine this light up at them. I keep it in the most narrow focused position and zoom out if needed. If you are looking to use this light to read star atlases, look elsewhere - this light is too bright and you will lose your dark adapted vision.

As stated in the title, this product is excellent for the price. I bought them for sea turtle season at the beach. The red light is bright enough to see well as you walk the beach, but not crazy bright so you can see incredibly far out. It's a good value for 2 flashlights. They feel really sturdy and have a nice weight to them as well. I'd recommend buying a bunch of AAA batteries to keep on you as back ups of you frequently walk the beach at night and/or for long Beach walks. I just bought the Amazon brand batteries bc they are cheap and now I have plenty of new batteries to keep the flashlights going.

Hard to find. These are actual red LEDs and use a common 18650 battery. Most other "red" flashlights use a white led and then filter through red plastic, which is really not desireable. Have had these for a while and they just work great!

Very good materials. Body of the flashlight is machined aluminum and weighs around 6oz. Comes with a 620nm/350ma red LED and PCB with resistors only and no annoying flashing mode IC so also opens the option to swap in other LEDs. Overall very good and should run for a long time on a battery.

I use these on my job in a theater. The red beam is preferred when I have to go into an auditorium where a show is running to look for something or handle an issue; a regular flashlight with a white beam would be extremely distracting in such a situation. The red beam preserves vision and doesn't leave you seeing spots after the light is off the way a white beam would. The construction is good. Nothing feels too tight or loose. I was concerned that the adjustable head would be too loose, but it seems to keep its position well enough considering it's frequently being inserted into and removed from a pants pocket. It's even stood up to a couple of minor drops from about 4'. I haven't had a chance to try them with 18650 batteries, so I can't comment on that yet. There are two plastic sleeves included with the lights, which I assume are adaptors for the 18650's...you probably don't want to lose those, but if you do, the lights still work well on 3 AAA's. The only thing I'm not happy about is the lack of a momentary on function as part of the switch. I won't dock a star for that since I didn't notice that before ordering, an oversight on *my* part. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the lights.

Flashlights are fine when they work, but one started flickering (even with brand new batteries) after less than months. Many times it won't come on at all, so it's useless in the dark. We'll see how much longer the second lasts.

The red LED light is great for treating myopia.

Good so far, really bright. I use it for fishing at night.
