Smooth-On Body Double Silk Lifecasting Silicone - Pint Unit

Excelente!!!

This stuff definitely works as intended! Despite some of the negative reviews here, the stuff works like they say. I always assume that it's people that didn't do the research enough and just jumped into the project blind. You want to do it in small batches and not mix up the full pint right away. You have 5 minutes from the time that you put two the a and the B together to stir it and put it on the face. It will start to set up after that and it'll be really hard to move around. One thing I found tonight while doing making this mold is that I shouldn't have been talking. Because parts lifted up off of my skin making the next layer not adhere seamlessly. Simple mistake to fix next time. I noticed that the blue material was a lot thicker than the yellow, but when mixed together it was like a a melty frosting texture. One thing I thought was weird that the blue material was in the yellow container and the yellow material was in the blue container. Not a big deal. I just thought it was kind of funny. I'd say with all the batches and the plaster bandages all in all it took us about an hour with just one person applying the silicone and plaster bandages to me. Though it did not turn out 100% perfect. I am 100% happy with the result considering it's the first attempt, and definitely put some new notes in my notebook for the next time. If you do your research and have a plan before you start so that there's no lag time. It'll get done real quick. I will be purchasing this again.

Smooth on for the win! Love this products easy to mix. Great results. Mold lasts. Fantastic value and now easier than ever to order.

This is an awesome product if you have at least intermediate level experience with life casting. That being said, with this kit, four hands are better than two. It has a short pot life and de-molds quickly which can prove to be wasteful without a solid plan.

This product was extremely disappointing and a waste of time and money. Even though we followed Smooth-On's instructions in every detail (ex. written instructions, manufacturer's website, manufacturer's YouTube videos), the silicone mix did not perform as advertised. It is not "brush on" in any way. Instead the mix was the consistency of scrambled eggs and did not apply evenly or easily. For the price, this product should provide at least acceptable results. Instead, the mold is unusable and is being discarded. I will not waste any more money on Smooth-On products, and I don't recommend them.

Good product.

Absolutely what I've been needing. I've tried so many things to mold a certain sought after body part. Of course I was trying to do it as cheap as possible but this is worth every penny! Set up is insanely quick but not too thick that you miss your window. The detail is beyond amazing.

Kicked a little faster than expected so recommend mixing in small batches. Gets great detail and makes a reusable mold, unlike alginate.

Works very well. Sets up great and easy to use. Good amount to work with.

Es un Excelente producto hecho de una excelente calidad muy recomendable

Interesting product. Used to take a cast of my ear. Worked well.
