I’ve been waiting for someone to come out with ND filters for the Osmo 360 and I came across these from Neewer. Neewer is a trusted brand and I use their filters for my drones and other action cameras. Even though the IQ isn’t affected too much when these are installed, there’s a few things that need to be worked out before I would recommend someone to purchase these. THE GOOD I like the filter case, even though it seems to be a bit oversized. Also, in single lens mode, the quality holds up well. These filters snap on just like the transparent lens protectors do. These also don’t feel cheap to the touch STITCHING ISSUES Even though the image looks great, unfortunately, the image doesn’t stitch very well with these filters installed. I’ve tried turning on and off the Lens Protector Mode. Neither mode fixes the stitchline. I even tried fixing it in DJI’s Studio app. The app helped, but didn’t fix the stitching completely. I don’t think this is Neewer’s fault. DJI needs to come out with a firmware update for ND filters. FLARING Unfortunately, these filters add some unsightly flares when there’s bright lights in the scene. For now, I’d hold off on ordering these until DJI comes out with a firmware update to fix the stitching issues when ND filters are installed. I’m also not liking the flaring and will be looking at other offerings for now.

These things are pretty sleek. This company never disappoints. I wasn’t expecting such neat looking covers. They definitely do their job in the ND filter is milk very well. I love the mirror. Finish to it. The display case is extremely nice to have. I would highly recommend these for anybody who has the Osmo 360. The final product in image is astounding. Color of the photos look extremely accurate

FIT: This fits the Xtra Sphra360, which is basically the same as the Osmo 360. The fit can be a bit finicky, so you need make sure it's seated perfectly, otherwise it could pop loose. Once it's on properly, it feels secure. LENS FLARE: The lens has anti reflective coatings on the inside, so you won't see the lens reflected in the filter. I didn't find any major issues with flares. STITCH LINE: The stitch line stands out like a sore thumb. I tried it with the lens cover setting enabled and disabled, but the problem persists. In my test video, I zoomed way in, so you can get a good idea of what's happening. Even when you zoom out, you will notice the stitch line when the camera is moving, or when objects cross over it. The OEM lens protector has a little bit of distortion, but not this bad. I spent a couple of days doing tests, and changing settings, trying to resolve the issue, but no luck. I examined the OEM and ND filter side by side, and it looks like there is a curvature difference near the edge. The OEM has a flatter curve near the edge. I'm wondering if they took a filter meant for the Insta360 and glued it into a DJI frame. COLOR: There's hardly any color shift, so the coatings are very good. I noticed that the bloom around the sun is much larger than the bare lens, so you'll need to keep your subject away from the sun. VERDICT: I think the lens coating and build quality is very good, but the stitch line distortion is a deal breaker for me. If I really need motion blur, I'd switch to single lens mode, or just use a regular action cam.
