I have been very grateful I found this product. I have naturally medium brown hair with lots of grey that I have stopped coloring. I have a very abrupt transition point with the grow out that is all in the most noticeable areas at the hairline and around my face. This syle edit root touch up tool is helping me hide/blend that transition better until I fully grow out the hair dye. It is not cheap but it does work well. It is easy to apply precisely, there is a blending tool at the other end of the stick that also works well. It moves/rubs off less than the Madison reed powder. Warning about the color- the medium brown is a warm brown, so if you have ash medium brown you might prefer the dark brown color because it is a more neutral tone. you will probably have to bite the bullet and buy one of each to experiment.

This cover up WORKS! I have very resistant grey hair and I get my hair colored every3 weeks but my hair grows very fast so after only 8 days my grey shows. I’ve always used the sprays that are extremely messy and smudges in addition to it being hard to be exact where you want it to go. I read about this product somewhere and decided to try it - it’s been a life saver for me! It covers exceptionally well and is easy to use around my face. And it travels well!!! I find the shades accurate. I love this product and now have it as a subscription each month.

This is a great product for covering grey hair. It is very pricey but a little goes a long way. I get the dark brown shade and it blends well with my natural hair. The product is not sticky and stays in my hair until it is washed out. I use a small clean mascara brush to blend the hairs around my face for a more natural look.

I was stuck rescheduling my color appointment for a whole month later than my usual time so my grey’s and white hairs were really visible and bad on my espresso brown hair. I was in a pinch so I decided to try this to get me through until my appointment. I wasn’t expecting much after trying drug store products like this but I was pleasantly surprised at how well it matched my color and how easy it was to apply. You can isolate the hairs you want to cover and blend much easier than a powder or spray. It stayed on and did not transfer or smudge and it was still doing its thing great the next day after sleeping with it on and between washes. It’s definitely something to have on hand and it’s small so it’s easy to toss in your purse or makeup bag for travel and touch ups. I highly recommend this and will buy again for sure

This stuff is AWESOME! It stays on, even during workouts and I love how well it covers my grays. Mine start growing in within a couple of weeks of getting my hair colored, so this product saves me from having to spend a ton of money constantly getting my hair colored. It's also convenient for travel or just keeping in your purse for touch-ups. I have the powder version of this also, but find this so much easier to use and I always reach for it instead. The seller shipped it out quickly and when I got the wrong color the first time, exchanging for a different one was a breeze! I'll definitely be back- I highly recommend this to anyone who is either trying to cover up those grays or make your hair look thicker- it's great!

This root cover touch up stick is one of the best products I have used to cover up my gray roots in between visits to my hair salon. I have tried various powders and sprays, which work to varying degrees, but either do not provide adequate coverage or are very messy. This touch up stick can be used on your part, hair line, or wherever you need coverage. A little bit goes a long way. I recommend touching up with a little color and then using the sponge on the end of the stick, or a disposable makeup sponge to spread the color over your gray area. It looks very natural and can extend your time between salon visits.

I read about this gray touch up stick in a fashion magazine and decided to give it a try because the touch up sprays were so messy and hard to evenly coat stubborn gray areas.
