## Description

CAMSTRO I71GT is a wireless outdoor security camera designed to provide reliable home monitoring with stronger WiFi coverage, flexible installation, and dependable solar-powered performance. Combining WiFi 6 technology, a high-gain 4dBi antenna, PIR human detection, and 2K color night vision, it helps protect front doors, garages, driveways, backyards, and other outdoor areas with clearer visibility and fewer interruptions. Unlike traditional fixed solar cameras, the split solar design allows the camera and solar panel to be installed separately. Mount the camera where you need the best viewing angle while placing the solar panel in direct sunlight for more efficient charging. This flexible setup helps solve one of the most common outdoor camera installation challenges without requiring power outlets or long power cables. Powered by a 3W high-efficiency solar panel and built-in rechargeable battery, the I71GT is designed for reliable day-to-day operation in changing outdoor conditions. The IP65 weatherproof housing helps withstand rain, dust, snow, and temperatures from -4°F to 122°F, making it suitable for year-round outdoor use. The camera supports 2.4GHz WiFi and uses WiFi 6 technology with a 4dBi high-gain antenna to provide stronger wall penetration and extended outdoor coverage compared with many standard wireless cameras. This helps maintain a more stable connection in locations such as garages, front porches, detached structures, and backyard monitoring areas. Advanced PIR motion detection with human recognition helps reduce false alerts caused by leaves, shadows, rain, insects, and other outdoor movement. Adjustable sensitivity levels, custom activity zones, and scheduled alert settings allow users to customize notifications based on different monitoring needs. With 355° pan, 90° tilt, and 6X digital zoom, the camera covers a wider viewing area than fixed-angle cameras. Full-color night vision helps capture important details after dark. The I71GT supports local storage with microSD cards up to 128GB and includes a 32GB microSD card for immediate use. Cloud storage is also available for additional backup options. The camera works with both Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing convenient hands-free monitoring through compatible smart home devices. Whether used as a front door camera, garage security camera, driveway camera, porch camera, or backyard monitoring solution, the CAMSTRO I71GT is designed to provide dependable outdoor security, flexible installation, and reliable protection day and night.

## Features

- WIFI 6 + 4DBI ANTENNA: STABLE FRONT DOOR SECURITY WHERE WEAKER CAMERAS DISCONNECT - Optimized with 2.4GHz WiFi for better wall penetration and longer outdoor range, this home security camera delivers smoother live view and more reliable monitoring for front doors and porches. Powered by WiFi 6 and a 4dBi high-gain antenna, it maintains stable coverage where standard WiFi cameras often lose signal.
- DETACHABLE SPLIT DESIGN: EASIER INSTALLATION WITHOUT POWER CABLES - Install the camera without running long power wires or searching for nearby outlets. Place the outside wireless security camera where you need the best front door view while positioning the solar panel separately in direct sunlight for efficient charging. Unlike wired or fixed-panel cameras, this split design gives you more flexible placement with less installation hassle.
- 3W HIGH-EFFICIENCY SOLAR: NON-STOP POWER EVEN DURING CLOUDY WEATHER - Generates up to 30% more solar energy than standard low-wattage panels that often struggle during winter or low-light conditions. Paired with a built-in 5200 power battery, this solar powered outdoor security camera delivers reliable front door monitoring with continuous operation day and night.
- 360° PTZ & 2K COLOR NIGHT VISION: CLEAR PACKAGE & VISITOR MONITORING AFTER DARK - With 355° pan, 90° tilt, and 6X zoom, this PTZ security camera covers wider porch and entryway areas than fixed-angle cameras. Full-color night vision up to 33ft captures clear 3MP video, helping you identify visitors, packages, and suspicious activity instead of blurry infrared shadows.
- SMART PIR HUMAN DETECTION: UP TO 90% FEWER FALSE ALERTS THAN BASIC MOTION SENSORS - Advanced PIR motion detection with human recognition helps reduce alerts caused by leaves, shadows, rain, and other outdoor movement. Customize sensitivity levels from 1-10, create activity zones, and set scheduled alerts to improve detection accuracy while minimizing unnecessary notifications around your home.
- 2-WAY AUDIO + ALEXA & GOOGLE: SMARTER FRONT DOOR MONITORING - Built-in microphone and speaker allow real-time communication through the mobile app whether you are home or away. Works with both Alexa and Google Assistant for convenient hands-free monitoring, speaking with delivery drivers, greeting guests, or responding immediately to unexpected activity at your front door.
- IP65 WEATHERPROOF + FLEXIBLE STORAGE FOR EVERYDAY FRONT DOOR SECURITY - Built to withstand rain, snow, dust, and temperatures from -4°F to 122°F for reliable year-round outdoor use. Supports local storage up to 128GB(not included) and cloud storage(Subscription required) with multi-user sharing, making it easier for families to monitor visitors and daily activity together.
- IMPORTANT NOTES – APP, PACKAGING & STORAGE: This camera works with the CLOUDEDGE app. During the packaging transition, you may receive either the old or new package; both contain the same solar & battery-powered camera. For reliable recording, use a genuine Class 10/U1 or higher micro SD card.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this outdoor security camera compatible with 2.4GHz WiFi or 5GHz WiFi?**
A: This solar wireless security camera can only connect with 2.4GHz WiFi. The 2.4GHz network provides wider coverage for home security cameras with wide compatibility and the advantage of penetrating obstacles. (5GHz WiFi is not supported)

**Q: What does the description mean when it says free lifetime recording for 6 seconds on a 7 day cycle?**
A: When motion is detected, the camera will automatically record 6 seconds of video and save it in cloud storage. The 6-second video is valid for 7 days, which means that on the eighth day, it will overwrite the video recorded on the first day.

**Q: Can I install this outdoor camera in the backyard?**
A: You can install this solar outdoor camera at outdoors, such as backyard, front yard, driveaway and garage.

**Q: How to contact the storekeeper if you have problems with the camera?**
A: Camstro's after-sales email can be found in the "CloudEdge" app (click on the linked device, "Con*tact Us" in the upper right corner) or on the back of the product manual.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Buy it

Very good camera

### ⭐⭐ Connectivity Concerns
*by A***R on 24 May 2026*

I’ve used many WiFi cameras before, but this one has been the most unreliable. It constantly struggles to stay connected, and today while I was away from home, the app wouldn’t connect to the camera at all. For a security device, this kind of inconsistency is unacceptable. Definitely disappointed.
