DAWASAPAT Projector Ceiling Mount with New Gimbal, Adjustable Length Projector Mount, ¼-Inch Screw, Compatible with Most Projectors, Ceiling/Wall Use with Adjustable Angle (Matte Black)

This black matte projector/camera mount is a simple solution containing a 9 to 15 inch optional mounting length. It can hold your projector or camera at a 90 or 45 degree angle, though I am not sure why you would need to. (This is accomplished by the swivel adjustable head mount.) The standard, horizontal mount is likely the common mount. The mounting screw is 1/4 inches. You could mount this on the ceiling or to a wall, or depending on your setup, you could mount it to a rolling table if you plan to use this for special events. If you are looking for a no-frills mount that is fairly simple to use and install, this is it. And at the current listing price of $29.97, it's a very good value. My only concern is sturdiness and security of the mount. If you have a high dollar projector, it's going to make you a little nervous, so mount with care. I would certainly recommend exploring your options, but for my purpose, I am using a lightweight, fairly inexpensive projector. For a camera mount, same advice.

I recently splurged on a nice projector, and it's working great but I had nowhere stable to keep it. A tripod works fine, but being on the ground it tends to be in the way, and I know it's only a matter of time before someone trips on it and it breaks. This is a FAR BETTER solution. You have the same threading that is used on other projectors/cameras/etc. so you don't have to worry about the thread not matching (or I didn't have to anyway). It tightens up quickly and well, and holds snugly so you don't have to worry about it falling. The arm both extends and articulates, so you have a lot of play with how far you want to extend it or even if you want to put it on a wall as opposed to the ceiling for access. The material is strong and durable, and actually quite stylish. Well made, durable, looks good, and really allows me to dedicate an area as a home cinema while not blocking the space at all. Highly recommend. Movie night, here we come...
