2PK 0.4MM CC2 Hardened Steel Ceramic Hotend for Centauri Carbon 2/CC2

If I could give more then 5 stars I would I have struggled since the original hotend got bent from a print and I loved the original one as I could print petg with it no issues ordered a new setup from Amazon and it gave me nothing but issues from day one .. decided to order this during prime days and just installed last night and omg it prints perfectly again and I’m back to printing petg I’m thinking of buying a few more of these just to have on hand because when you find something that works like oem or better you never find it again

Let me preface this review by saying that I have been printing for years and I know how to operate and maintain an FDM printer. The Elegoo Centauri Carbon that used this hothead was well maintained and functioning without issue. I simply wanted a different size nozzle and Elegoo had a long wait time to ship one of their official parts, so I ordered this one. That was a mistake. There appears to be a manufacturing defect that slightly misaligns the position of the hole on the top of the heat sink that receives the filament from the feeding gears, and/or an issue with how the nozzle fixes onto that heat sink. The first two layers of the print were successful, so I stepped away for twenty minutes. When I checked again, the PLA was oozing out of various parts of the hotend and fusing with the inside of the full print head. That entire part will need to be replaced. This is disappointing and will put this machine out of service for some time. I'd recommend avoiding this hotend.

Does work in the cc 2 I know a lot say they will but this the first one that I didn’t have issue with thanks

Perfect replacement for the cc1. No issues with printing. Clears the poop shoot. Was worried with price but not a worry at all.

They do work and fit... BUT... I purchased 2 0.4mm Kits and the first only lasted ~1month before I started having poor extrusion issues, I found that the heater thermal adhesive compound broke down and separated from the heater block resulting in inconsistent extrusion and poor temperature control. Using the second nozzle now, will update if this is a fluke or a problem with the quality of materials. The hottest temperature I printed at was 260°C with ASA.

My go to for my CC1 replacement! Can’t go wrong with the quality and price!

I bought this because Elegoo was backed ordered until the end of September according to their site. I am the one that broke my original extruder and I really didn’t want to wait that long. I took a chance on the one. The quality has been excellent. I can’t tell the difference in the prints I did before and the ones I have done with this one. I have about 40 hours of prints done on this now with no signs of slowing down. Looking them side by side of it wasn’t for the writing saying Elegoo I would be able to tell them apart. I am only printing PLA so I can’t tell you it will work for everything but it seems to handle PLA like a champ. The item arrived the next day and after switching them out I have been running it ever since.

Pésima calidad, llevo rato usando la boquilla y hotend original y he cambiado por otras boquillas sin cambiar el hoten sin problema. Compre este kit pensando que me ahorraría trabajo tener diferentes hotends con diferentes boquillas. La boquilla de 0.2 no funciono, estaba tapada, incluso después de calibrar la cama y hacer PID Tunning, fallo todo, no solo no imprimió nada, empezó a salir el plástico por los lados de la boquilla y la rosca en lugar de por la punta, lo que causo que se saliera de calibración y rayara la cama original de mi impresora. Por fortuna note algo raro y detuve la impresión. Estoy regresando al hotend original con otras boquillas a ver si no hubo daño permanente en la maquina.
