Really useful I recommend!!
Installation was incredibly quick and easy. I am very happy with this product! It is extremely handy for driving a larger vehicle with blind spots, especially as a beginner driver. It makes parking so much easier and stress-free. Highly recommend

Quality Product.
Great product. Easy and fun installation. Works great. I have arthritis in my neck and cannot turn my head too far. This camera gives me a great view of what's behind my car.

Good Product but No Adapter to Power from Fuse Box
I like this camera system. The wireless connection solved some concerns for installation. I would give it a high 4 stars close to 5 as it is good for the price (especially with a $30 Amazon Coupon). I think the image is reasonable for an inexpensive system and it provides enough image for backing up safely. The night image is good enough too (black and white). However, the description states the monitor can be powered by a fuse box. I'm sure it can but the manufacturer does nothing to make that reasonable. The only power you can get is from a cigarette lighter adapter. The manufacturer does not provide a connector with any tinned wires or other means to connect to a fuse box or anywhere else and the plug to the monitor is tiny and non-standard so you can't simply try to make one yourself. You would have to cut the cord from the cigarette lighter adapter then figure out which tiny wire you need to connect to power and ground. No help from the manufacturer there either. And hopefully there aren't any other wires that you mess up because it uses a four-pin connector. Not wanting to risk that I'd damage the thing, I simply am plugging it in with it's far oversized cable. I now notice that another buyer mentions the same thing in a video he posted. Seems like he will gamble and cut the power cord then wire it in. Hopefully he provides some feedback about his experience. While I won't go so far as to call the description for this device as deceptive, it is careless and should provide more details. UPDATE: I received a response from the manufacturer to my review. They indicate they will improve their instructions in the future. In the meantime this is what I was told: "After cutting off the cigarette lighter adapter, you will see one red wire and one black wire, then connect the red wire to the accessory power fuse and the black wire to the ground. Cutting off the adapter does not invalidate the warranty. " Hope this helps anyone who wants to hardwire the display to a power source at the fuse box. There certainly is enough cable. As a result I've upgraded my rating to a solid four stars. The camera is working fine.

Update: Great backup camera.. Easy installation on 2011 Ford F150..
This backup camera kit was a very easy installation on my 2011 Ford F150 pickup. I recently purchased my F150 and it didn't have a factory backup camera. Backing up this big pickup in todays smaller parking lots was challenge. I purchased this camera due to the numerous positive reviews. This installation was very easy and straightforward. With the speed clips the camera installed in minutes to the backup light wiring. Taking my time and neatly tucking all of the wires out of the way the entire process took less than 45 minutes. The camera is very clear and now I am able to see directly behind my pickup when backing up. I have no issues with connectivity between the backup camera and screen. There is plenty of wiring included. I am very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this backup camera system. I would recommend searching for the YouTube videos for installation tips. Also look for a video on how to remove your cars/trucks rear lights. This will make your install very easy. Update: The screen inside my F150 recently had some issues where it turned gray with no video. I contacted customer support and received a prompt reply from Gigi. After going through some troubleshooting it was determined the screen was faulty. Gigi arranged to have a replacement unit sent out. I received the unit today and now everything is working again. Very happy with this product and the customer support from Gigi. It's very nice to deal with a company that stands behind their product and will assist to resolve issues. Thanks again..

Love this backup Camera
I love this backup camera! I cannot turn my neck very well and this is just what I needed. I use it on my 1999 Cadillac Deville. The install was easy. The shipping was quick with no problems. I would buy from Auto-Vox again.

Works OK on back of truck, poor on back of trailer.
Installed on 2003 Tacoma placing sending unit inside tail light cavity (see photo). Used double sided mounting tape for sending unit and power box. Worked fine for a couple days and then the receiver/screen failed. Seller was very quick to respond when I sent photo proof of the failure. They sent a new package, I received it 7-10 days later. Has been working for 5-6 weeks now, with one issue (see below). Truck was on many miles of very rough 4x4 trails. The way the camera attaches to the mounting bracket is a little questionable, it hinges on just one small screw and nut. I added some zip ties to help keep it in place. This camera really makes hooking up trailers much easier, almost always first try with no helper. That was the reason for purchase and it works good enough. The image is normally good enough but if there is bright sun anywhere in the image, the darker areas are near impossible to see. I purchased a "VANMASS Universal Car Phone Mount" to replace the provided suction cup mount for the screen so that I can place the screen lower, not blocking road vision. Removed the cell phone mount and used the ball to mount the camera's screen, fits good. This works fine when using the camera mounted on back of my truck. I first attached sending unit to the Tacoma's backup light and ground wire. My 2003 Tacoma has one ground wire for backup, stop, turn, and running light. About three weeks later while on a road trip my stop light started blowing fuses every time I stepped on the brake. Removed both tail lights and it still happened. Gave up and took it to a dealership to repair. They told me the camera was shorted out (it was not when I inspected a week later) and removed the camera wires from tail light system, I really doubt that was really the issue but I am no longer blowing fuses. Anyway, camera is now on a seperate power wire that switches from cab of truck, grounded to frame of truck, working as it should. Since the seller sent me a full package for the screen replacement I put the second camera on back of our 8 foot pop up camper to help see directly behind. Sending unit is in a plastic box attached to the back. I think this adds about 12 feet to the distance between camera and screen, about 25-27 feet total. It works some of the time but only if screen is up high in the cab of truck, not when screen is sitting on or below dash level. When it does work there is lots of lag. This is odd as when I first received the package I was able to receive the camera image from about 200 feet away with screen on dash and no obstacles. I am sure it would work if I could mount sending unit on the side of the camper but don't want something sticking out on the side. It does help a bit for rear view but one can not see very far behind as that is not what these cameras are made for, camera angle is too wide for that even though this camera is narrower than most back up cameras. I plan to purchase an extender cable for the trailer camera.

Good because it works, great for the price.
I installed this camera system as a front/forward facing camera on my car, because it already had the rear camera. I checked with the dealer and there was nothing they could do for me to get a forward camera to work through the Ford Sync3 monitor. They said even if there was hardware, the cost would be in the thousands with labor as a dealer installed add on. I got a deal on my Auto Vox CS-2, for less than a hundred bucks as some kind of Amazon flash deal. I did not get any "presents" from AUTO VOX for this review. There is some wiring to do with the camera as obviously it needs power. And, you will need various tools and misc supplies to get it done. For power, I ran the power cable under the car bumper, then up through the engine bay to the under hood fuse box. I then used an add-a -circuit jumper to create a circuit at a fuse location that turns off when the ignition is off/and vice versa. The included mount simply "didn't work" but a few strategic strips of 3M double sided auto tape mounted the camera low on the front bumper quite nice. I did have a problem at first. After everything was hooked up I got the BLACK SCREEN OF DEATH and nothing. The manual suggested cables were not connected, but they were. Something told me the ground might not be right, and that's what it was. After removing the ground wire from a bare steel nut and moving it to the actual negative ground terminal the camera fired right up. Hint: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD GROUND no matter what your setup might be. I am very happy with this system. It was fairly easy to install and the picture and features are very good. Could it better? I suppose so, but for a hundred bucks I think it works great.

Good unit but poor performance if trailer is in the shade.
I installed this unit on my 2005 F150. The camera and monitor seem to be of decent quality. The installation wasn't terribly difficult but you are on your own in figuring out where to put the power box on a pickup. I installed my power box in the cavity for my right tail light. I tapped the wires going to the backup light for my power source. The image quality on the monitor is good. One aspect of the unit's performance has been disappointing. I recently tried to hook up my boat. The boat was parked in the shade. My truck was parked in the sun. I could not see the boat trailer's tongue until the hitch ball on my truck was next to it. In those circumstances, the CS-2 was of little value in hooking up my boat. That is why I am giving it 4 stars. Customer Service is great. I had a couple of questions and they were answered promptly. Be sure to contact the company and ask that your warranty be extended to 18 months. That doesn’t happen automatically. I have now had the unit for about a year. I am still happy with the monitor and camera The mounting mechanism for the unit is another matter. The ring that tightens the mount where it attaches to the monitor cracked or split completely. I have tried to fix it twice with epoxy but it won't hold. The ring is too flimsy to secure the monitor and be durable. I have also experienced sticking problems with the suction cup on the mount.

Fácil de instalar
Por ser inalámbrica, es mucho más fácil de instalar Podría ser un poco más grande la pantalla replicando un retrovisor.

Good quality image with great connectivity
The product really worth the price. Not giving one star for the smaller viewing angle which is only 110 degrees. If it was 150 degree or above should have been made the product priceless.Otherwise very good product with vivid images at day and night.

Buena imagen, pero pitido engorroso
No me gusta que el soporte no se fija al cristal del parabrisas, y se cae a cada rato Hay que invertir en un soporte de calidad
