Doll house Building, what an interesting book. It shows you how, what you need, the materials to use, it filled with great ideas. My older kids have been reading it, too. They are interested. What a great hobby. It's a beautiful book, filled with so much knowledge on woodworking, with great pictures. Easy to read and understand. My kids are excited about learning these things. And quite frankly, so am I.

There's something nice with having an actual book to read on the couch, away from your digital screens. If you like miniature stuff then you might like this book. It surely gives inspiration to making things of your own.

I was so excited to get this book, I can already tell it’s going to be very helpful and informative. As someone who’s new to miniatures, I need some guidance and this book has so much information as well as beautiful photos. So even if I chose to never use it, it would still make a awesome coffee table book.

I bought this book because it had a chapter on making/designing miniature shops/stores. There are some how-to sections interspersed throughout the book. While I wasn't specifically looking for that, there is one demonstration about upholstering miniature furniture that gave me some good hints worth the cost of the book. There is a great variety of styles shown. The one drawback (for me) is that there aren't many close-up photos, and the quality of the photos varies considerably. I'm guessing that they were submitted by the artists who created the miniatures, rather than professional photographers.

This is a lovely book. full of inspirational and great photography. There really is something for everyone if you are interested in minatures and dolls houses. Full of useful tips also.
