The serving wear is so solid each piece is nice and heavy and appears well made. The design and the color is really nice. Not bright or cheap looking. More of an aged copper look . The size of all the serving pieces are terrific. I don't know if these can go in a dishwasher. Since I don't possess one I am not worried about washing these by hand. Again I feel like I'm repeating myself but I hate flimsy flatware that bend when you barely touch them. These pieces are so lovely and solid.
