G-Shock GMWB5000GD-1, Black, Strap

A beautiful watch once you fit the band properly by removing enough of the links. I chose to leave the Bluetooth sync off and just rely on mb6 every night to display the RCVD on the screen. I wish you could see the battery level and the get time for mb6, but other than that a perfect watch.

This is my third one and I love them. Love the solar power and the connectivity of the satellites to set the time, wear it and forget about it always displays the correct time. I can't recommend this enough you will fall in love

This watch lives up to its reputation. It’s built well. Feels sturdy as well. Isn’t too heavy on the wrist. Handsome and minimalistic. I will warn others though…when removing links, prepare to have patience. They can be incredibly difficult to get back on. I haven’t dealt with 2 sided spring loaded links like these before. It was quite frustrating. Doesn’t take away from the watch though.

Like: it has the elegance of digital solar powered watch! No need to plug… just lay under the sun, free of charge and free of vitamin D . Dislike: why it is so beautiful and worth it for my money

Awesome watch just not a fan of the negative display so I swapped it out for the positive display from my silver full metal Gshock

Great experience and beautiful product.

Hard to read the time. The numbers are deep, small and dim. The overlaying solar plate takes too much space. You can not see the number unless you are looking at watch straight at 90 degrees angle. The watch is heavier and less comfortable than the usual Casio watches. I have had many Casio watches before that I loved, more recently I bought 2 of those higher end Casio watches that was completely dissatisfied with. They are technical marvels but truly, for what they meant to be, they are not as good as the cheaper ones. It is not about the price, I have several Swiss mechanical watches that are way more expensive, but after my experience, the best Casio watches are the ones below $200.

Beautiful watch, buy if interested in metal squares

高い買い物をしましたが、Gショックファンからは一目おかれます。私はGショックにはあまり理解がなく購入したのですが、とても良い品物だっんだなと気づかされました。Gショック狩りに気を付けてとまでも。そこまでの品なのかと何故か満足感が強いです。

色々デザインで迷ってこれに決めました。 服装や場所を選ばす、仕事使いでも違和感ない ですね。 少々重く感じますがそのうち気にならなく なりました。

5000番代の金属Gショックは初めての購入。チタン性ではないので重いだろうと予想していたが着けてみると意外に重さを感じない。手持ちのMRG-3000DJが105.1g、本品153.6g(共に5コマ外した状態)なので5割増しで重く、着け比べれば確かに重いのだが、自分は気にならない。 MRG-3000DJが古い機種で厚さ18.8mmあるのに対し本品は13.3mmと樹脂製GW-M5610の12.8mmと大差ない厚さが影響しているように感じる。 少し残念なのが本体とバンドの色目の違い。本体が艶有りブラックなのに対し、バンドはガンメタ寄りのマットブラック。自分はマット系の色が好みなのでバンドの色目で統一して欲しかった。 とはいえ気に入ったので1,2回の電池交換は視野に入れ、10年は使いたい。 今までGショックはメタル3本、樹脂5本購入しているが、特に気遣い、ケア無く、電池交換すれば10年は持っている。本当に堅牢。

こちらのG-SHOCK、存在感があり重さもちょうど良い。全金属製でずっしりとした安定感があるけれど、ちょっと光りすぎて派手かもしれない。紙やすりで磨いて自分好みに調整もできると思う。使うほどに味が出てくるし、非常に丈夫なので現場作業にも最適だ。
