Glasses Strap- Eyewear Retainer, Sunglasses Strap, Eyeglasses Strap, Adjustable Cable Straps, Glasses Holder

So first off id like to say is I recomend this product if your looking for some type of strap or lanyard for your glasses. If you have skinny tube like stick thin glasses this will not fit. If you have chunky thick glasses with some gurth, this also will not fit your glasses. I've tried both. This product fits moderatly thin to reasonably thick glasses. I'm a fisherman and always have a pair of sunglasses on. It's not only important for safty reason, but I'm not going to be in the sun all day squinting. I've been there when I needed to take my sun glasses off and set them some where to see something detailed, or going into a store and your not an idiot by keeping your sunglasses on. Regardless it's just nice to have this product so you can easily set your glasses around your neck instead of your pockets that might have sharp keys. If you're moving around, or looking down you can rely on this product to perform its job it was intended for. Putting this on my sunglasses was simple. Taking them off was simple. Its locks on well and doesnt just fall off my pair of sunglasses. The easy slide adjustable wire straps opens and closes with ease. If you need to adjust it weather your tightening it to your knogen or loosening it to dangle around your neck your all set. Solid product.

My glasses slip down during the day and I need something to keep them in place. The Luxe Performance Strap does the job. It is light and not noticeable. Really nice product.

Just what I needed. I have a pair of prescription sun glasses. The frame is made of plastic because I didn't want to spend a fortune; I had already spent a mini-fortune on my regular glasses. But the problem with plastic frames (for some people like me) is that they keep sliding down. I tried those nose-pad thingies but didn't like them at all. They didn't fit well and they didn't help. Then one night I had a thought: What if there is some sort of strap that I can tie behind my head to keep my glasses in place? Well, I "binged it" (use Bing, not Google) and saw that they indeed do exist and I saw examples of them. Well, what do you know. Apparently in life you're rarely ever the only one with a problem. Whatever problem you have, likely some others have too. I was ecstatic. Not because I delight in others also having problems, but because I have one less problem to worry about. Which will probably add some minutes, perhaps hours, hopefully days, and God-willing, years, to my life. I was ecstatic. Because not all problems are easily solvable, or solvable at all. Some problems are intractable and follow you around like a shadow. I was ecstatic. Finally, a solution to one of my problems. Now wearing sunglasses won't be an exercise in frustration; I won't have to push them up every 5-10 seconds. And I now have the expectation of a prolonged life. So I bought this Luxe Performance Cable Strap - Premium Adjustable No Tail Sunglass Strap and Eyewear Retainer for Your Sunglasses, Eyeglasses, or Prescription Glasses (Black), and eagerly anticipated its arrival. I got it and tried it on and it worked like a charm. Amazing. I put it on and I was all giddy. Not all products work that well, but this one did. I was instantly hooked. I will buy another one. Perhaps if I had something like this strap back in 2009 I wouldn't have lost my glasses at the beach. It makes sense in hindsight, but wearing glasses while swimming at the beach is not a good idea. It's one of those things you can put on a tombstone: "It seemed like a good idea at the time." These Luxe Performance Cable Straps are excellent. They deserve 5-stars. I'm sure other brands work just as well, but this is the one I got. It's kinda like happily married people. Most likely they would have been just as happily married had they married someone else. But their spouse is the one they got. In short, this Luxe Performance Cable Strap is great.

I bought this strap to put on pair of Oakley prescription sunglasses and I’ve been very happy with it. I spend a lot of time doing activities outside, like playing softball and fishing, and I wanted to make sure I didn’t have to worry about my sunglasses falling off and breaking or getting lost. With this strap, I haven’t had to worry one bit! I will also use it to hang my glasses on my neck, and I’ve not had any problems there either. It’s sturdy and durable, and will stay in place if you adjust it to be tighter. The grips that attach to the glasses are super tight, and do not slip of at all. This is great in the fact that it secures the glasses well, but also was a bit of an issue at first. Getting the grips on to the glasses was a bit tough, because they were almost too tight. It seemed like they weren’t going to fit. But after eventually working them on, I’ve had no other issues!

These are where it's at. As a glasses wearer, I want something holding my sunglasses or whatever on my face while kayaking, hiking, etc., when I'm in the heat, sweating, or don't want my items sinking to the bottom of a lake. I cannot believe how great these are. I'm almost 40, so when I was a kid the only options you had were the drawstring type that dangled behind your head. No thanks. These are a HUGE plus. They hold onto the glasses arms VERY well, but removing them is not difficult either. You cinch them up behind your head and away you go. Again, love 'em.

So I had four name criteria for evaluating these glass holders: 1) look 2) comfort/functionality 3) staying snug on my face 4) staying connected to my glasses 1) Look Overall they do look quite sharp and you hardly notice them when their on so 5 stars 2) Comfort/functionality They were really comfortable when I first attached them to my dark sunglasses and were easy to to adjust so 5 stars 3) Staying snug on my face To test this I used them in two different ways today: washing my car and going for a jog. In both cases they ever stayed snug on my face. When I would bend over the bucket to wash my car I kept pushing them up against the bridge of my nose as they kept creeping forward. Additionally, when I went for a jog I found they never felt secure around my face. I found myself occasional pushing my glasses up against the bridge of my nose. I doubled checked that I have pulled the brace as far inas it would go around the back of my head but it wouldn’t close any further as they were already up against the tip of the back of my glasses so 3 stars here 4) staying connected to my glasses This part was frustrating, four times during the afternoon the right back tube where the brace black tubing connects to the tip of Maui Jim glasses came-off. I double and tripled check multiple times to make sure I had it pushed the black tube into the tip of my glasses as far as it would go. Still they came-off on occasion, so this got 2 stars. Hopefully this helps to explain why I gave it 3 stars. I’m now trying to decide if I want to go through the whole hassle of returning them or just cope with them. Bummer!

I work in some extreme temperatures at times. I find myself having to constantly push my glasses back on my face and often, they just slide right off. VERY annoying when I’m trying to drive fasteners or shine a light down a dark hole. I put up with this for far too long. I finally researched a way to keep them on my face. I used to have a boat so I recall that there were some that stretched. I never knew that they made adjustable ones like this set I purchased here. I was skeptical that the adjustment wouldn’t hold but the reviews were strong. I went for it and… Folks. They just work. Plain and simple. They work. Adjusting is easy and I can adjust one handed by simply pulling my glasses forward with slight firmness. I wear these with my glasses, even when going to bed. They are comfortable and easily adjustable for the shower or other times I need to remove my glasses. Otherwise, my glasses are LOCKED to my face! I have a giant head. I find that the size I bought fits my head perfectly when they are cinched all the way. This means if you have a head bigger than mine, these will grow with you. If your head is smaller or “normal” l, then consider getting a size smaller. I forgot what I purchased but it was the default size. Maybe Large? Medium would likely work for most people. Anyhow. I LOVE these. They are tough and I feel confident when I am working.

Recently got a new pair of glasses, a bit larger frames this time. The problem was I felt I always had to push the glasses back on as they were slipping down my nose! These straps are the solution, and for normal eyeglasses, they adjust right around your head and are non-noticeable as they camouflage with hair ;). I purchased the 14'" ones, and I have a big head, and I like the fit better than the 16" ones. Also the 16" ones seemed to have "too much cable", making it a bit harder to open and close. Overall, great design.
