Calculus II For Dummies

The authors style is clear and readable. Chapters 11, 12 and 13 cover sequences and series. The author's explanations of Maclaurin and Taylor series was outstanding. The rest of the book is pretty good also. It begins with a review of Calculus I and ends with an introduction to differential equations.

Places things in simpler terms…so happy!!

this book helped me pass my 2nd term calc class. i dont think i could have done it woth out it! i was also able to use this for my 3rd term calc class as well. THIS IS A VERY HELPFUL BOOK AND WILL SAVE YOUR BUTT IF YOU ARE STRUGGLING!!!

The book has been helpful in understanding more difficult topics. Examples used are relatively simple. Only complaint is the "new" condition it came in, bent pages that stick together occasionally.

As with all of the "for Dummies" books I have purchased (eleven of them), this explains it all better than my text book -- for a fraction of the price. I wish professors used this as a text. Most are just too lazy to create their own problem sets.

I didn’t do so well in Calc 1 and had at least a year in between that and Calc 2; this was extremely useful in refreshing me in what I needed to know for Calc 2 & 3.

Was a great book. Alot of calculus I review but hey I needed it. Looking forward to calc IV. And III.

Bought this for a friend's daughter that has never struggled in school but, was having trouble with calc ll (12 students in the class and all of them struggling) Saw girls father a few days later he said she told him "this book is my new best friend".
