I love this switch! I bought a second unit because the first one worked great and allowed me to control devices in another room. I have one connected to an exhaust fan and the other to a dehumidifier. I can now control each from my Android phone. With the addition of a camera, I can easily see and control the conditions without having to run into the room. Correct placement of the switch and I can bypass automatic temperature and humidity controls in an emergency. The clips for the wires were a little confusing and i didn't use them on the first switch. I thought they were garbage because they didn't hold the wire tight. When the second switch arrived, my nephew showed me that I was not opening the clips all the way. From that point it took us under a minute to strip wires and connect to my phone. That simple. Setting up schedules are a little grueling and the app definitely could be better. But it works and with time and creativity you can accomplish most anything. (48 entries for an action every half hour).

These switches work Great! I have multiple controlling lights & fans, I installed one to control a vent fan in my detached garage! They have been extremely versatile, very reliable & robust, after a power bump or outage they come back as programmed! Easy to connect to the Wifi system & program in Smart Home.

So I had tried several other products, such as the popular "Sonoff" brand switches. I absolutely could not get them to work at all, even after contacting their support. I ended up returning those other brand switches.So I ordered these on a whim, they are a new product, and when I ordered there were NO reviews posted yet. Risky I thought, but oh well.Upon receipt they were nicely packed, with good quality quick connectors instead of crappy wire nuts but - first complaint here is that while the end caps are removable, there is no point to removing them. The wires are soldered to the PCB inside the unit - personally, I would rather them forgo the quick connects and wires, and just put a screw header on the PCB for connecting whichever wiring you need to. Nonetheless, the ends of the wires were pre-tinned with solder to keep them from fraying which was a nice touch, and the connectors they provided were of good quality - but they don't work well on high AWG wire (such as 12 AWG). They did work good on smaller AWG however.In my use case, I was putting these switches inside of fluorescent fixtures, where the internal wiring is 18 AWG, but the home wiring is 12 AWG. So I was able to use the connectors for the fixture side of the switch, but not for the internal house side. It would not bite onto a solid core 12 AWG wire and stay attached. Just something to note if you are using these as most people would.Anyways, those issues aside, they were fairly easy to set up - I used some double-sided foam tape to attach them to the inside of the fixtures, and was able to get them wired up fairly quickly. You could do this and then set them up in-situ, but I decided to get them setup prior to wiring, and I am glad I did.Thankfully I have a "quick-test" so I can connect devices to mains for situations like this (search for "CLIFF Quick Test on Google, I can't recall where I ordered my US version from). This enabled me to connect to mains voltage at my workbench and get them configured and synced to my account prior to installation - definitely do this if you can.As for setup and linking: The instructions are pure garbage. Throw them away and do this - this was the ONLY reliable method I found to configure.0) Before starting, you absolutely positively you must have a 2.4 GHz only wireless AP set-up. I did this on my router by setting up a "guest" network for all of my smart devices on the 2.4 GHz band only. This ensures the device only connects to that SSID and that frequency, and wont complain in the app if you have a dual band router.1) Connect your cell phone to the same 2.4 GHz AP you are using for the smart devices. Install the Smart Home app if you have not already and get your account set up.2) In the app, use "wall switch" for adding a new device type, and get it to the point where it says to make sure your device is blinking during the on screen setup.3) Hold the button down for at least 10 seconds. It will click several times. After 10 seconds, release the button.4) Immediately after release, count for 1 beat, and then hold in the button again for an additional 10 seconds.5) Click the confirm/next button in the app to tell it your device is blinking.6) Wait for the phone to finish setup - the switch might click once or twice. Be patient! Sometimes it takes the full 2 minutes.6b) If somehow this doesn't work, return to step 3 and repeat, making sure you are following the button holds exactly.7) It should be set up - test and make sure the switch clicks when you press the switch on screen on the app. Rename the device as desired - it will probably come up named by default with chinese characters.8 - optional) Link your smart life account with your google or amazon account according to those providers normal process. I did this with google - and then afterwords I told google home to "resync devices".Congrats, done! Now install them in the fixture (turn off your power at your breaker panel first!!!) and restore power, and give them about 30 seconds or so to reconnect up, and then test them out.Note: you could do the setup in-situ if you cannot connect before installing, its just going to be more difficult if you are on a ladder arms above head :)Oh and last bit - once all of this was done, they are working GREAT - they respond extremely fast - I also inspected the components, and they used decent quality components - the relays seem properly sized for the task, etc. Just make sure you adhere to their specifications - 10 A MAX - I wouldnt go more than 8 amps to give yourself a buffer - I am using on lights, so probably an amp max for me.4/5 stars due to poor instructions and other minor complaints. If they update the instructions and change to screw post connectors, I could give this 5 stars.

Easy to hook up and use with google home app. It will not fit in a single pole wall switch box. I use it to control outside garage and porch lights that had double pole switches with enough soace in the box for the switch.

I bought these to install in place of (non existent) physical switches that an electrician said would cost $200 each to put in. Took a bit of manual labor, cutting conduit and splicing wires, but all is good, and they work like a charm! I don't understand why some people say the instructions aren't very good. I followed the instructions, and got it set up and running the first attempt. Maybe it's because I already was familiar with the smart life app? I don't know. But don't let those reviews sway your decision. They're easy to set up, and work great. Oh, and I didn't have any issue with my dual band router. I did not have to set up a guest network, or shut down the 5Ghz side or anything. Just plain easy and strait forward setup.

Ordered these remote switches to control my Backyard Pool Lamps with Alexa. Easy to install, detected my wifi, and works perfectly with my Alexa. I use the smart life app for all my other switches, plugs, garage opener, lamps, fans, so this went pretty smooth. The switch is about 85 feet away from my wifi extender in a sealed plastic junction box ( 8"x 6" x 3") and detected quickly. I would not recommend using the connectors that come with it, they just slip out and won't hold (dangerous). I used the more reliable standard twist wire connectors. I'm going to install one for the pool light.

Just randomly dies

Good for a cheap internet switch. Will handle 24-volt low voltage, even though it's not rated for it. Bluetooth range is a little light...maybe 30 ft, but it works like a charm. I used it to turn my non-internet-equipped pool heater's electric burner off and on by presetting my heater temperature and then just turning the 24V transformer for the board off and on.

Gelieferte Qualität und Beschreibung überraschend gut. Profiklemmen für Kabel mitgeliefert. Installation innerhalb weniger Minuten. Intuitiv und sofort mit alexa zu koppeln.Anklemmen in Lampenabdeckung problemlos möglich und läuft nun seit 4 Monaten ohne Probleme.Würde mir diese sofort wieder kaufen.

Wenn man einen WiFi Smart Switch kauft, geht man nicht davon aus, dass dieser auch Bluetooth haben kann. Nach Stunden langem probieren, dann mal Drahtlosschalter (BLE + WiFi) ausgewählt, alle Bluetooth-Berechtigungen gegeben...und siehe da - endlich klappts mit dem Einrichten.

Prima di acquistarlo avevo letto una recensione che diceva: "se viene a mancare la luce gli interrutori poi rimangono aperti/luci accese" smentito poi da altra recensione "se manca la luce rimangono nello stato in cui si trovano" In realtà dopo averli provati ho scoperto che si, rimangono nello stato in cui si trovano fino a che c'è mancanza di corrente ma quando questa ritorna si azzera tutto e si spengono, lo si vede anche direttamente dall'applicazione smart life e bisogna riaccenderli. Mi chiedo se c'è un sistema per farli riaccendere direttamente dall'applicazione perchè avendoli installati nel riscaldamento a pavimento in caso di blackout anche brevissimi tornerei a casa fredda, e inoltre dovrei anche sempre controllare l'app nel caso non mi fossi accorto della mancanza di luce. Insomma, in conclusione per il mio caso non sono sicuramente adatti e mi dispiace perchè li trovavo un buon prodotto! Contatterò l'assistenza e nel caso aggiorno la recensione anche se non credo sia possibile. Inoltre d'ora in poi valuterò le recensioni con maggiore attenzione.

Bon produit qui se déconnecte assez régulièrement quant même obligeant a réinitialiser l'application ou à couper le courant pour que les modules soient reconnus. Pénible mais on s'y fait.Livraison pitoyable comme assez régulièrement avec les livreurs Amazon : balancé par dessus le portail alors qu'il y avait quelqu'un chez moi, que le livreur ne se préoccupe pas de la fragilité du produit (casse ou électronique) et indiqué mis dans la boite aux lettres
